with the plant size and the number of plants JBM is running there will be no prob hitting his goal. Even with og kush 2 oz is pretty average yield per plant

gregor how long are you vegging yours? It really sounds like a nice setup,

I don't totally agree with Indica dreamers statment about the hash plant and northern farmers yield. any single cola dense nuged plant will produce great yields in this system and with the plant count .

Like I said in my first post, he has never been on this site.

Actually, he has been a member of this site.

Thanks for the link, Gregor! The nice part about the internet is being able to link your references. :bashhead:

what does it mean when people say "you may not reach your yield this time, but next time you will"" ?

GreenBastard's first attempt didn't hit 1gpw, and he blames that on having multiple strains. :chin:

"My first crop had several fuck ups, mostly exacerbated by growing 3 different varieties , each with different heights and requirements. Even with less than optimal conditions, I yielded 4.25 pounds of AAA coinsure grade buds."

Chill my friend, cause we all are friends here, right? My apologies, I made a mistake...

Agreed about linking references, but I'm not writing a term paper and I told everyone where to look, so if they really want to know they could go look.

Is that top row of plants going to drain water or are the drain-holes plugged???

Eijneb, I have been doing minimal runoff for right now, but little saucers will be going under the top row. The bottom row is on the ground and the ground is lined with poly, so no issues there.

Thanks, I wanted clarification on what 'minimal drainage' meant. Most people who follow your feeding schedule go for 10% runoff (not minimal). I also had trouble seeing how the saucers are going to fit.

If your feeding solution leaks all over your flowers, it's going to be a disaster. I don't know why you'd take that chance. Both NorthernFarmer and GreenBastard have excellent ways to deal with water management. You can't cut corners and expect the same yeild.

Vertical systems are very efficient. It takes a lot of work to set one up properly and I admire the good ones.

That's my two cents...I'll sit down now.:lurk:

Does 3600w count as a micro grow? Cuz I'm not at all interested in what EBI has to say about this one; "microgrow management specialist"...... stop acting like you know.

Thank you for the concern... please don't take this wrong, but I probably know a lot more about growing all kinds of plants then you do. I've also grown in almost every system imaginable. I can tell you exactly how a plant works on a cellular level, diagnose almost every pest, disease and pathogen + give you the most effective way to deal with it.

I'll be ok, your concern is appreciated, but unnecessary.

Look, I realize he won't listen. I want to say "I told ya so". Seriously though, if any other newbie wants to build that shoddy setup and give it a try, at least they've been warned.

I don't know that he'll spill water all over his buds, but I'd bet money on it!

I do know that his yield will be limited because he won't be able to feed them as much water, which is a plant's primary nutrient.

Pleast keep us updated JBM!

"Microgrow" is anything under 1000w, imho.

EBI, I've been only polite up until this point, unfortunately my tack was lost on you though. I graciously ask you to stop posting in my thread and if you do, I will contact a mod and they will speak with you.

My reasoning is that you have basically insulted me for no reason. You might not see it as an insult and for that I'm sorry, but I cannot control you or how I feel; I hope you realize the same thing.

I'm not trolling, buddy. I started off being very informative. (Your welcome for that strain info on the Orange Crush, BTW.) When I asked questions you became hostile. When I asked grendel for a link, you became even more hostile.

I hope your grow goes well. It should be possible to hit your mark, provided you don't cut anymore corners and never make a mistake watering your plants.

No worries joesy, I've already put the trays underneath the top row... I already had when he started criticizing me... I'll just let people be people.

I actually used 10"x20" nursery flats, the same used for clones and those fit two pots perfectly.
