2x2 passive hydro beercup madness - week 4

Welcome to...

JURASSIC PARK

wait, no..that's not right.

BEERCUP MADNESS

Let's get the party started.

Simple as can be, this is passive hydroponics in a 2x2. Beercups stuffed with rockwool. I water once daily by dunking the cups in a bucket. We're around week 4 of flowering, with around 4 weeks of growth from seed.

Any critique is welcome. I still consider myself a very amateur grower, this is the only grow I've ever been happy enough with to share. This is grow #3, however I consider it my first REAL, educated attempt.

For nutes I'm using Maxibloom and a silica supplement.

Do you guys think i was too aggressive in my pruning on some of these?

The strains:
- Bright Moments (Gage Green Genetics)
- Chemmy Jones (CSG)
- Secret Recipe (CSG)
- Ganesh (Mandala)
- Madness (World of Seeds)
- Cheese (Dinafem)

These plants are my two favourites. They look to be quite the producers, I have clones of both and i'm looking forward to scrogging em out.

The final plant. This one got mislabelled, I'm not sure what she is. Ganesh probably?

Ha! The manual dunk method I like it! Room looks real nice.

I can't critique anything the plants look great.

Are you gonna be around to dunk it more than once a day as yo approach the end of flowering? I would guess they'd be drying out pretty good more then once a day at some point....

Interesting, can i ask why you choose to not make your seeds into moms then use a cut in the beer cup? just feel like you could get better quality/quantity? and money saver.

unless you just like popping seeds.

lots of resin tho!

Well I was under time constraints, I really need to harvest this before I move again for school at the start of September. Plus I wasn't sure which phenotypes I would enjoy so I took clones of all of them. I'm hoping to establish moms of my faves.

Yeah I'm hoping to, generally I arrive home from work right when my lights are turning on, so I think I'll start watering them then and also before I crash. At this point though most of the cups still have a tiny bit of water weight left in them when I go to water.

Neat set-up! I like it a lot. Interested to see how the Ganesh turns out.

Thanks man, me too. I hope they fill out. The lower growth on most of the ganesh was looking runty so I just cut it off in hopes of creating a bigger top cola. :dance013:

The plants aren't huge but they're certainly frosty and quite healthy looking! Looks like those buds will be filling in nicely over the coming weeks.

Gotta echo whoever commented on how nice the Ganesh looks. They all look good, but that one just stands out.

Nice man - as long as you don't miss a beat with the watering this is going to be good:) Have to subscribe to see how they look when you harvest.

Thanks for joining the party! We're officially into 'Nate-Watering-Two-Times-A-Lights-On-Cycle', so hopefully everything will go swimmingly.
