I definitely plan on getting there, ATM I am using a 1000 for the first time, and my room is about the size of yours. I guess my goal is 2k and a tray with the 'ton as media.

I've used hydroton with good results in buckets, but never in trays, recently I saw an aquaponics setup like that and the hydroton were doing great as a medium.

I'm guessing you use R/O water and do you do anything for humidity control?
Do you use sulfur etc, do you spray or use any pest control in veg etc?

Well i do not use R/O water i just simply have a chlorine and sedament filter which gives me pure clean water... I have no humidity control because my room sits at about 30% all day. My pest control is just 2 hot shot slow release strips that work great and u never have to spray ur plants with nasty oils or sulfer..
