Let's do a little walk though and see how these ladies are doing, starting with these jack frost
I know some of y'all we're loving the upskirts so there's some more in this update for you
Slight yellowing from below, to be expected at this point. Dense clusters of buds forming on the colas, but obscured from view by its fattass leaves. Thinking this one would could use some defoliating later on. I havent "big-leaved" before with my indoors. any thoughts on if its worthwhile and when in flower is best?
That wonky one is neither recovering, nor getting any worse since applying citric acid then nematodes.
I'm starting to think it maybe was a poorly mixed patch of soil. Everything else is starting to yellow a bit underneith, but the healthy BOs are solid green. Maybe this end of the bed was a bit hotter. The wonky BO is just one for the hashbags at this point
BTW, anyone have any experience ordering from sprungbags?
The wendell berry kush is doing amazing! When I told plushberry does well outdoors in the PNW, y'all werent lying. this plushberryxmoonwreck sure is so far!
It is getting a bit more pale from the bottom up than everything else, thinking bout top tressing to ad a bit more for these ladies. Maybe some of the Dr earth granular bud and bloom I have around (4-10-7 i think) and some ewc. waddaya think? any other recommendations?
glad you're enjoying the plushberry! plushberry by itself is not all that spectacular but mixed with the blue moon rocks, I bet she'll be better. This would make for an interesting breeder project for PNW outdoor strains. You could mix a bunch of desirable strains to harden them up to mold and finish fast.
The problem with tga strains in general, from what i hear, is they don't stabilize their lines, so with all the polyhybrid breading, there are so many phenotypes of each "strain," some good, some not so much. the Wendell Its a plushberry x moonwreck, though I'd love to see it crossed with the BMR. The Nigerian, Durban and VRK are all BMR crosses and they're pretty heady.
I'm running his pennywise strain which is supposed to have four pheno's and only one is the one you want 11-12%THC:11-12%CBD. I got 5 regular seeds for $60 at their registered dealer locally and two didn't germinate while I lucked out with a fem for this one. still got two seeds left but that's a lot of money for something you probably won't get. didn't know all that when I bought them but fingers crossed! on their website, tga says in bold print that it is "super pest and PM resistant" where the other strains he has say it too but never used the word "super" to describe it and never in bold print. thought it would do great out by me and so she's outdoors and has grown from 1.5ft to 6 ft in about a month and a half. all I do is give her water and shes planted in the earth.
I think I got that confused about the BMR cross because the others were. Glad they're doing great for you!
