1800w Ebb & Gro

Been using a zyme product, hygrozyme, cannazyme, pondzyme an barley straw, one or the other for the past years. an never had an issue with any!! would never go with recomended dosages either.

Seen my buddy run HYGROZYME for the past 3 years in his waterfarms with airstones an his shit battles the best. His roots look cleaner then mine as he doesn't use any organics or dark ferts then mine. no rot there either even at late flower

cant read eveything these days. jsut never had issues or seen others personally have issues. to each is own.

2. you said hygrozyme does not cause brown slime blooms. also wrong
just because "your buddy" had luck with it doesent mean there isnt a huge well documented issue with running hygrozyme in a recirc system.

you really do have alot of time on your hands. I used many products INCLUDING HYGROZYME FOR MULTIPLE GROWS BEFORE, and ONCE durring my ebb&gro experience!!!!! NO PROBLEMS.

Shit, i really am tempted to go by more hygrozyme an run another test. On the runs i did use it,it was more of a availiblity thing. to go get my canna i gotta get a ride an make them drive about an hour. An the hygrozyme is like 15 min away at a different store. I dont drive to hydro stores anymore so i have to bother a friend to take me, an now i stock up when im there.

an to show just show anther situation, i cant drive my own vehicle to the store without fear of prosecution but yet someone can use their MOBILE phone to be here. Shit i gotta jump through proxy hoops to be able to post or read here.

So Bterzz, how are they doing? you cant go wrong with the 4hr cycle all the time or only on lights off. personally i like every 2hrs. an when i play the scenario in my head, i think i may change my flood sched arround.

I personally am gonna stay away from Hygrozyme. I used it in Rockwool croutons, but makes me nervous to use in anything recirculating with open roots. I've heard from others that hygrozyme performs very poorly in RWDC. While I understand EBB&gro isn't RDWC, I have still decided to run Dutch Master Zone and no zymes.

Anyways, tonight I replaced the worst one with my one extra. She was in a 4" cube and outgrew this one, so she was replaced!

Roots are looking sweet. Zone is great. It's cloramine based so there are alternatives. Pythoff,hydrosparkle,or regular bleach are all good for a sterill res.

I learned about bleach frOm krunchbubble while I was fighting the brown slime. Recomended dose is 1ml per 10 gallons every other day. I used 2ml per 10 gal at first to combat it then down to 1ml. Zone lasts longer in the res as chloramine dissipate slower than chlorine.

Hey. Ebb&Gro is simple flood and drain, where as RDWC the root mass is in aerated water 24/7.

all it did was SKANK out my res.
all conditions were solid til i added the zyme.
looked like someone jacked off in the res.
white clumps of floaters all over the place.
looked like a 15 yo discovered porn for the 1st time and decided to "hide" what he did in the res, if you get my drift

Ya`ll makin this way harder than it is as long as environment in the room`s taken care of ........

Rootzone temps don`t mean "Dick" to a properly run ebb and flow bucket setup.......

The most simple " bulletproof " setup I ever ran........Bar none.......

One of the early worries had many yrs ago when switching over to hydroponics ... was bacteria , pythium , pathogens, fungi/mold etc , growing in the rez/containers .

My solution was power of UV inline sterilizers often used for households running off wells & incorporate that into the rez circulation . This pretty much destroys 100% of the bacteria/viruses & most of the mold & fungi leaving rez absolutely crytal clear everytime . Very simple to do & no need to run all the time just periodically.... & after initial cost for the UV unit one gets total peace of mind of an always sterile/clear rez
for up to 3yrs .

Lover of the KISS methods aren't ya DHF ?

Just did a quick study of some of the Vert threads u posted on, this one & caught many & most of the tweaks central to your successes ... like importance of air exchange in the rooms & light positioning , topping off & nute management etc. Great fundamental tips , saavy 'KISS' thinking .

Remember SoQuick's epic recirculating rock grows & believe he had that one problem with those smaller 2 1/2 containers of blockage due to overgrowth of rootmass which is the common prob with rocks . Roots love to grow wild in this amazingly aerated medium , but guess u guys just don't have this problem in huge 5gals ?

I was only after 2 1/2 oz plants at the end of the day playin the numbers game and did it for over 5 yrs well with 35 plants in each room at several locations only runnin 3-600`s vertical and bare bulbed.............
