12 weeks of 12-12. To harvest or not?

You can do the old time Hippy method and wait for the Pistils to turn 80% or more brown. I agree with everyone that using a loupe to check for amber trics is the best way.

The fan leaves have all fallen off and the little leaves around the buds are starting to die off as well.
I wanted them to flower to their full potential. It feels like the flowers will ripen more but not fattening up anymore.

To answer the other question it is 12 weeks from start of the 12 hour light cycle and there was a veg time.

Temperatures the hi 80 degrees.

And I have never microwaved any of my flowers and I'm definitely never going to start in the future I like my flower hung and dryed the old-fashioned way.
Good shit man fuck microwaving cannabis wtf year is this 1989? How does anyone even get a good guess on what's happening just blasting all those essential oils for no reason.

Update tomorrow. Tomorrow will be start of 15 weeks of the 12 12 light cycle. I think I'm going to harvest tomorrow. To me it doesn't look like it's getting any more Crystaly or any further ripened. What are your thoughts.

looks like ur spraying ur plants? dont spray even water on ur flowering plants. causes premature browning of pistils and which sorta slows bud growth and calyx size.

looks like could keep going but ull get some decent smoke :)

I see there is some opposition to that idea which I got from here at the icmag forum recently: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=39940

It's not blasting, because it's at low power for a short time, and nobody said it was perfect compared to a cure. It's really just for a small sample off a plant, ready in minutes, compared to other methods using fans and ovens and heaters. Yes, it's going to taste like chlorophyll, but, at a moment in time when you have nothing to smoke and a plant that won't be hurt by missing a small piece, it will definitely give you an idea about the final product.

Samples of some kind give you more of a guess than just looking at it. I love watching it grow, but the buzz I get from doing it that way is not as good as the microwave one.

These are the best trich shots I could get.

Why not? Because:
1) microwaved cannabis will not produce the same high as air drying.
2) microwaved cannabis tastes like shit.
3)microwaves ruin cannabis.

The buds pictured are not ready IMHO. A general rule to follow is to wait for almost all pistils to recede and wither. Like all of them except for maybe 1 or 2 at the very top of the buds.
You don't need a loupe to see trichome color, just good lighting and perhaps a magnifying glass or high power reading glasses. If you watch closely you can see the change from clear to cloudy.

To add to dirtbags statement

Microwaves emit radiation
Radiation causes cancer

Nobody wants cancer unless the individual is imbecilic lol I would personally snip a bud off dry it and smoke it then decide for yourself

The second photo shows a decent amount of amber. I'm unable to see any amber in the first shot and no clue on the LED lit photos. White lighting makes for the best photos. ;)
