You're right, Hempy. Hundreds of thousands of researchers and Docs around the world are in a GIANT conspiracy, and thus far they've been able to keep a lid on it, because among THAT many people, the odds of someone admitting it's a scam, from INSIDE the scam, are nil.

'Cause, you know, people tend to be reliable confidants that way, when it comes to secrets and conspiracies. Right?

Just because something is hard to imagine doesn't mean it isn't really happening. It was once impossible (nearly) to imagine that the Earth rotated around the sun.

That seems to me to be an EXTREMELY disjointed and incongruous comparison or analogy, Hempy.

Fact: The earth DOES rotate around the Sun.

Fact: People numbering that many (or even more than 1 or 2 people) DON'T have a history of keeping their mouths shut, and...

Fact: To have nearly the entirety of the medical/virology/med research professions ALL agree to violate their codes of ethics and licensing requirements, risking prison, death, loss of income, etc., to assist the supposed hatchers of this dastardly, world-wide, nefarious plan, to benefit the world bankers, Bill Gates, Joe Biden, or whom ever the Boogieman du jour is, in this comically deranged mind-fucking, birthed-by-psychotic-group-think, (likely due to some not being equipped to handle the reality of a pandemic, and, therefore, seeming hell-bent on fabricating crapola for their own comfort), is.. well, so far beyond delusional, the comparisons exist in different galaxies... Like WAY far apart galaxies. Places Capt. Kirk and Luke Skywalker have never likely even heard of.

Try knitting, Hempy. You can make some GREAT wool socks, wool hats, etc., and if you don't need them yourself, hand-made crafts go for a premium at many on-line sites set up for marketing such things.

You could sequester during this time of impoverished social distancing, and create a healthy cottage industry for yourself..

I've been thinking. Maybe it really is time for a north american revolution. People who invent bullshit facts could get rounded up. You know, like Pol Pot and Pinochet did. It worked for Mao.

That might be a little extreme for me, but something needs to be done.

I have a crazy idea. How about actually enforcing the current laws?

Why are lying, unethical assholes allowed to spread damaging bullshit without consequence? Why aren't all the assholes making death threats being arrested and fully prosecuted?

There are laws about threats, harassment, libel, slander already on the books. No new laws are needed, no violations of the Holy American Constitution(/s) are required. Just enforce the fucking law!

I agree completely. But those people are using free speech as a shield. The courts should recognize that. I know it's hard to do, but they still have to do it.

Porn is in fact illegal. But as one Supreme Court Justice once said (I can't remember who), "I can't define Porn, but I know it when I see it". It's the same thing with free speech. It has to be defined with more than a pointing finger at the construction.

This an off topic post about covid. But since its gone political. If people dont like their country ,move. At least in america i have rights.in some countries talking bad about the government gets u killed. Food 4 thought.
