Animal Cookies 4K Grow Show

My indoor project , 20 Animal Cookies and 15 Skywalker OG.

I've been building up this room for a while.
its about 9' x 11'

I installed a 220 circuit.
I'm using a Sentinel HPH-4 High Power 4-Light Controller.

4 GALAXY DIGITAL LOGIC 1000W SELECT-A-WATT 400/600/1000/TURBO CHARGE BALLASTS.

4 1000 watt HPS in 6" sunsystems vented hoods

I'm reusing recycled organic soil with light House & Garden products.

Lets get this party started!

Here are the vented hoods.
4k its very bright in here when lights are on.

I started these clones in September, vegged them October and moved them into the flower November.

I moved them into the flower room first week of November, Topped all of them and gave them an extra week of veg, then fliped 12/12 on Novenber 7th.

Here is what they looked like on Nov.1

Im doing this project with of what I have laying around.

I'm hand watering
Mostly organic
Sea Pals and House & Graden
5 gal grow bags
recycled soil

never ran the Animal before. BUT............

She grows nice, very sturdy hardy plant.
I like her better than GSC thin mint so far.
Just a very nice plant.

I'd reccomend gavida grow lights. Double the yield of conventional HPS in my experience.

Looking good, are these animal cookies from bcbd?Have you ever tested the galaxy 1000w vs turbo setting for yeild?

I'm seed testing some phantom cookie x hash plant currently. Will be popping some phantom cookie x phantom cookie seeds in December.

You making it down to the emerald cup? If you're coming from the north, I got a little pit stop set up for travelers. North Sonoma county.

Nice set up Mendo! good luck with this grow.Your style is very intriguing to me .
How do you mix your nutrients, like in bottles and shake them up..measuring the amount of nutrients with a syringe and ppm meter or do you just intuitively make a batch up? why do you have a scrog screen down and how do you water plants in the back? do you defoliate any of your leaves? have fun Mendo, take care!

Are you talking about the dual end bulbs?

I already think I have to much light for the space.

fuck NO! BCBD

I just run them at 1000.

since my light s are so close together I was thinking of running at 600 watts.

But Fuck IT 1000 watts for those babys

I'm an organic guy.
I have amended the soil with Rainbow bloom mix.
Mixing nutrients is easy. I go light and dont check ph or ppm.

The screen is to support the huge colas. Not sure if Ill need a second layer .

The plants have stretched less than I thought.
I may have less stretch form the 1 application of Facilitator.

I can walk around the table. I water by hand.

I'm not a fan of defoliating. Its like removing solar panels and ends up a net loss in photosynthesis.

I do remove under growth.

The room runs cool so I don't need AC.
Room stays 80 during the day.

I have a sentinel controller


10" intake and 8" outtake.

The ventilation system is very nice!
My hoods are vented threw the room. It keeps a constant air exchange.

Cool air in form a garage. Its cool now 60's in the garage.
So the ventilation does not come on very often.
It is nice, the hoods do most of the air exchange and keep things cool.
