Had some issues with the suppliers (quoted wrong voltages ) So I have to wait on new drivers and power supplies :p

Meanwhile the clones have vegged up fine under 700 watt ... and are ready to flower ...

I am goign to flip at new years regardless ... and add the 1600 watt of leds that are missing when they are ready.

Week 2

I have another 600 watt of lights completed but it looks like the plants are already showing signs of to much light ... I noticed they like the Cree red blue chips so far the most ...

I had to under drive the wattage of the leds to keep them cool so I ended up with about 2000 watts of light for about $1600 ... I am currently only using 1200 watts over a 4x8 area flower and the plants look good i'll post a pic up tonight ... Have the other 600 watts over my 4x12 vegg area ...

im really considering led. im a diy so dont mind getting a lil dirty so long as its worth it and it seems it is. how much would you charge to build me 1200w to cover a 4x8 and or help me build it myself. how many like hoods would it be? I really appreciate it. i been checking riu and there is a guy over there thats on this site: supraspl i believe and he is doing diy cob with great results. im ready to try leds im very inspired. i tried cmh like over 5 years ago had a 400w cmh. So im willing to try something new again. thanks again

The warm White leds would be similar, But I would not flower unless I had the red blue and all of the correct wavelengths ...

are the lights you using cob's? i was thinking i could by some 11 band and or full spectrum led lights the ones with the circles and use the metal space in between circles to mount cob's and would also act as a heat sink. also might be able to wire it up to existing wiring as in fixture as well
