Damn dude, I know that feeling... happened to me at the mouth of my local river when I first moved here. Didn't get up to my armpits, but the strength of the current had me a little (ok, a lot) worried.
I second the inflatable PFD suggestion. Guys usually encourage fishing with a buddy after a scare like that, but I won't because you're probably like me and enjoy the solitude lol

Yeah the solitude and the beauty is spiritual.....Funny thing is were I was fishing is were I requested my ashes to be placed. My wife almost got a twofur...
I had a pda did not like the design and figured I may be in more trouble with it....I have had thought of just wear a wetsuit.
That's the safest but a pain in the ass.
Yeah fishing with friends is very good advice. You know how it is You just want to go when you want to go.I had a buddy that would knock on my window at 2am to catch a great tied.He was crazyer than me over stripers but he has moved away.

This bastard knocked my plug 8ft out of the water before he finally grabbed it.A lot of 32"to 34" were hitting.

Glad you made it back safe PH. Im an avid fisherman myself and am alone most times. Couple of chest thumping moments indeed but the allure of the river never goes away.

Sweet buds too.

Hey Brother Bmac...a fellow fisherman...I like:dance013:

I love to fish alone and I love all the things that go on when you're out there with your line in the water.
Last year I was standing in the rain and cold way out in the ocean and this spec was coming straight at me.
Im looking at it going what the fuck is that thing.I saw the UFO from pretty far off and it was really moving.
Then whoosh right by my head.....It was a Hummingbird....way the hell out there on a cold and snotty day. It almost hit me.

Thanks for the kind words and be safe on the rivers....Glad I'm still around.:)

For those looking forward to growing this line out I would top this plant as most of you do and cage her in.I would take some off the bottom but all buds are frosty and productive.
she needs support and branch management.

She is super loud and what I call a hot mess.I feel she is all about her Buds they are everywhere and big and heavy.
I'm so glad I got the opportunity to grow them out...A bit giddy.
A plant to be excited about.

Body Structure....She is being draged down with many frosty dence Buds

Edit Add ON Info ....The top cola bent over from its own bud Weight that why there is a crook in it now.I didn't do any surgery on this one to remedy.

she needs support and branch management.Same as #3.
the 2 is more spindly with off set branching and offer no bud support. Both are very pretty productive plants. The lowest branches have huge buds same as mid level...Strange.
Lots and lots of bent branches but not one lost bud in the run.

picture.php

She very super loud as is the 3 and a little more out of control.I feel she is all about her Buds they are everywhere and big and heavy.
I'm so glad I got the opportunity to grow them out...looking forward to her hitting my pipe....Must clean pipe soon...Check
Another plant to be excited about.
She blew us out of the room when cutting her fan leaves off for hanging

I planned on touring the whole coast. Not sure If I will start in the south and work my way north or visa versa. The wife mentioned going to switzerland first and then driving....That may be a little crazy though.

I would like to do some lake and river fishing inland.I go on google earth and look around.I do like to meet real people when I travel.

Branching on these plants are weak but not spindly compare to other phenos.

No problem taking strong teas.

Support is a must
Stable Line No oddities or Herming issues
Trichomes milky with ambering just starting befor cut

The # 4 and #1 are the same pheno with very little difference between them. They stand very tall at over 50".Looking at my notes they both showed some slight nitrogen sensitivity at beginning of flower but then it subsided. She took her teas positively with good responsive growth.
As stated she had a quick and sudden fade on all leaves about day 70 or so.
It is a bit easier to manage their branches but the buds are a tad smaller than the other phenos.Still Branching on these two are not classified as spindly.Caging in mid flower was needed.
after that smooth sailing for them.

picture.php

I would say to top to help with there big stretch but not mandatory if you like growing natural like I do.Trimming lower stalk may be a good idea.Plants lower buds are less productive but not throw aways. The 3 and 2 were freaks of nature with putting out golf balls on all the lower branches.

picture.php

Well I have the 4 to do and then I'm finished.I will keep the 4 simple because these 2 plants are very close.I'll do Pictures and terps and such.

Another great line by Bodhi seeds

Thanks ph
