I culled the am5 in kratky and replaced with full rooted am5. no time :biggrin:

comparing Z#1 in different container sizes.

what I see is that the plant in middle(~0,5l) makes the most out of container volume(yield per ml of soil). she is totally rootbound.
the one on right side(~0,7l) was not able to root all the media in her container.
she is even 3 days older then others and I can not see better performance. very intresting.
(left plant was catpruned early, dont compare this one)

Its important to compare only clone of the same size from start.
A bigger clone has more initial energy stored to grow roots fast.

test 11 (3rd picture left front) are cuttings with 2 more nodes than before, I want to know at what point she branches out over container size.

This way I find her 'sweetspot' for my setup.:biggrin:

every single clone lean to the side a few deg. when budding up
all other strain go straight tip up

finally I took her down, spotting ambers

100days.

Her pre-test was outstanding, she IS killer.
smell straight from the core, disgusting beautiful.

M#1 mama is now mature. clones much more greasy.

Dude, that milk carton window view of the roots is brilliant!
Excited to hear about the smoke on the Zamadelica after the cure as well.
And my lord the double serrations is a sight to behold, this is by far my favorite grow on these forums. You really have a knack for your system. and maintaining these wonderful sativas in this micro environment, is truly, as I said prior... just impressive.

maybe my malawi is a monster but your small plants saws your
green thumb.. your skills and your patience doing work
with many and such small plants is remarkable.

in near future chaos system will split up in some way;-)

its just too much work to maintain(I have put flowering clones to dark every day since 26.1.14 and took them back to chaos next morning).
lately I had to make some excuses so I f****d with their light cycle.

these nanners were induced by light stress(changing from 9 hours to 13; 3 times in 2 weeks). but this is my Z#1 and I dont want her to do that.
I will self her anyway as those nanners look nice and are the only ones.
Its the catpruned one, haha could be also reason...
other strains no issues!

looking at that Ayran carton I can't help wondering whether and how they will finish in there!
Your approach is somewhat perplexing to me for I have never seen so minute a sativa.
Do you grow them like that due to space restriction or for the fun of it?

the early bird,

I read about the kratky system and im really fascinated by the fact its possible to grow in unaerated nutrient solution.
This whole thing is fun and learning for me the most.
I wont do them all "körfez" ;)

Just imagine an easy modificated körfezsystem to place it outside, guerilla. grow everywhere.

I have no "real" space restriction indoor, it would be no problem to run a bigger thing. But as I want to understand the plant better while
selecting some strains, I started @ lowest possible and workable scale for me.
When I have scheduled the different sativas in this setup(talkin soil/hydro, chem/organic) it will be no problem to adapt to everything else.

I have a mad problem with very high humidity(80%+) and a starting powdery mildew infestation.
I will now partial spray little africa with lactobacteria(thinned whole milk)
and get the room temperature over 30°C while heavy venting the whole thing.
sorry no pic right now its total chaos.

effn beautiful! Some buds just look so good I want to eat them. I don't know why as I know there are no benefits, maybe its a lingering childhood compulsion... This is definitely one of those buds though , damn nice job mate!

And if it doesn't work, sulphur will do the job methinks.

had to bunker some up, it wont see next weekend otherwise...

I lost the catpruned Z#1, the mildew spores started to grow on dead pistil inside the bud.
everything else is under control with the help of diluted milk solution(1:10) and worm tea(foliar).
malawi can take it all, she shows a very strong resistance against this humid mess.
a dehumidifier will do the rest...
