day 44
seems like they are growing way better now after the flush and ph adjust, pistils forming everywhere and the silvers are still stretching madly
they were getting thirsty again, so i fed them with ½ strenght
ph of 6.6 and 1.8 ec, 1.0 ec tap water and 0.8 ec biobizz
1.8 EC going in, what PH and EC is coming out the bottom. Did your EC runoff come back down from 4.0 where it was at?
ph coming out is between 6.2 and 6.8
i didn't check the ec runoff this time, after the flush it was between 2 and 3.5, a full strenght feeding would be around ec 3.0
i repotted 3 times now, so the different layers of soil will contain different amounts of salts, if i made 3 diff runoffs i would prolly get 3 much different readings, depending on how the water runs down the pot
if 4.7 ec dont burn the plants just a little bit, ill be safe by adding an ec of 2-3 and flushing every 3rd watering
ill be checking the ec and ph again at next watering
I repotted from the 1/2 gallon to the 2 gallon at about 3 weeks or so. It wasn't rootbound but I just decided to give it more space. Seems to be working well. PH sounds great. EC is working out, keep it as it is. Looking great bro!
the more i look at human behaviour the more i realise the necessity of being alone. im returning to my man cave with the private area for my trees
good luck with the grow be sure to smoke 1 fat bowl of good green when it grows to surprise yourself of quality that you grew. did that the first time with a mate and me nearly died it was potent namaste
Your girls look amazing. Great job bro. They are stretching alot! You are right you mind end up bending and stretching them. How tall were they when you flipped to 12/12? I cant remember if you told me or not. Your going to have lots of bud in no time!
The box or container that you have your inline fan sitting inside of, was that your DIY home made way of reducing the sound of your inline? If so how much sound did it actually reduce? I was thinking of making something similiar for my inline. I have a nice big box or I could buy a rubbermaid container. Let me know how you did that. Thanks bro.
its just a thin moving box, with the inside covered all around with a layer of 6-7 hard rockwool, and then some soft rockwool around the unit at last
it removes all the noise from the motor if done right, and if you hang it from something solid in bungee cords it will take the vibrations, then the only problem is the ducting and outline, its there the most noise is made
if you can make some nice straight ducting, out of some pipe thats bigger than the motor outtake, if your outtake is 100mm then go for 125 or higher ducting, makes less resistance, and when you buy ducting make sure to get something with a smooth inner surface, the one i got makes alot of resistance on the inside
if you are going to tweak with the noise level make sure to get the speed controller with your fan, and finally you can add some sort of silencer
with all of these things u can reduce the noise 80-90%
who are you hiding the sound from, yourself, guests, neightbours?
Thanks brother for the info and the pictures! Thats a real nice DIY setup to reduce the noise. I have a way overpowered Inline for my small tent so it sits next to the tent, where the screen "window" is located and it pulls all the smell straight into the Phresh filter, it works great. I have the inline sitting directly on top of the phresh filter. Its not that loud at all just trying to find ways to reduce the noise further. I think your box is a great idea. I will take some pictures and show you how I have mine set up.
