Awesome, brother! I did ten years asar as a chinook and kingair 200 pilot. First five was enlisted doing flight operations stuff, second five up front. Fractured a vertebrae in some far off place and now I'm back in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Things happen for a reason. I have a fellow aviator for a roommate so we get to fly whenever we want. I'm only messing with light sport aircraft now. My turbine days are behind me. My goal is to have a secluded property with a greenhouse and airstrip on it. The FAA may have grounded me but I love being in the sky. Nothing beats watching the first morning sun hit the snowy eastern slopes of Mt. Hood up at 10,000 feet!
Asar eh? Bet u got some stories to tell. I do too....
Good on ya av8tor.
H.B.
you honey dicking us?
a fully reflective geodesic dome that you (or someone) decided to build outside..... wtf man this is getting crazy.
I'm just going to go drill some holes in the side of a 3.5 gallon bucket then.
yeah no shit eh.... especially the veg pics in post #226 (and how some of the plants have been trained)
figured grow partner(s) had some input too but......
you deserve full credit Av8or for running a tight game. New-to-recirc-hydro-grower after grower are doing really well right off the bat with the PPK but you're obviously doing everything you can to have success.
a word of advice might be to go through one flower cycle before you expand your garden. There's someimportantthingsthat influence quality that take place during that process but either way nice job man!

it's actually inside. i am building them in industrial spaces for my personal use. totally sealed with almost every surface, including floors and grow containers, covered in reflectix.
you're looking at one frequency icosahedron with five of the 20 facets removed for the floor.
leaving 15 facets all reflecting back to center.
thread soon!

no jive?
av8or, looking at your last set of pics i think you still have broad mites.
since you have stated that you are not critically dependent on this for income you might consider clearing all plant matter out of the place and nuking it.
spray everything with something and heat treat the room before starting again.
i think this will save you a lot of grief in the future.
develop a quarantine protocol for incoming plants or start from seed. let no one in the room.
i have watched folks go through 8-9 months of repeated crop failures because of recurring mites. torture!
have found super cropping to be preferred over topping in the long run because it affects the plant differently.
If started early enough (and as your visualization muscles get more and more used to plant growth), supErcropping is very powerful.
Growth post -flip is different so it's good to see before designing new space.another consideration is drying and curing and you might find it advantageous to use heat and humidity (and possibly realestate) from the grow rooms for this.
Geode is was the most intelligent sounding thing I could come up with, even though I have no idea what I'm talking about
The floor looked like outdoor concrete but just guessing. Be cool if there was a whole bunch of small plants stacked upon each other in there with some vertical bare bulbs .......

the last pic on post #226. maybe it's just paranoia and the plant is just a little too wet at the bottom. or the mites could be dead and that is just residual damage.
the leaves are a little tubed, which to me indicates something is not just right. i've seen leaves do that under intense broad mite pressure.
the other plants look pretty good though.
in view of your intention to tear down anyway you could wait and see. you are getting a shitpile of experience in a hurry here!
