Grow # 1, Gorilla Glue #4

Hi IC Mag! Excited to finally be doing my first grow and grow diary! Feeling blessed to be part of this wonderful community of great growers& people!

Also very excited to be growing the Gg#4!

I picked up some feminized seeds from the recent kush cup!

This will be a two plant grow, one from seeds and the other from a clone that I will hopefully be getting next week. But for now I'll be doing the seed.

One plant will eventually get flipped after veg & the other, the keeper will be clipped for clones and then flipped.

Here's the lucky seed that I just germinated yesterday!

It will be going into a small plastic container, about the size of a cup. Will be using fox farm happy frog soil with perlite.

It will be eventually transplanted into 3-5 gallon smart pots.

So here are some pics of the GG clone and the GG seed. The seeds seems to have stalled and hasn't grown for about 3 days. It had the seed shell stuck on the top of the seedling since it broke ground so I gently removed it.

Howdy. I'm a first timer myself. Your seedling looks like its been over watered. Water right after you put the seedling in the dirt. Don't water again for about three days. During this time, keep the top soil moist with a spray bottle. Don't give any nutrients to seedlings (I learned this the hard way). The seedlings needs for its roots to get both air and water. To much water = no air. This results in root rot. Let that baby dry out for a few days and see if it snaps back.

A wise grower once told me that the plant will tell you what it needs and when it needs it. So, no nutes until the plant tells you that it needs them. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I finally figured it out! Again! Lol. There's the baby glue in a one gallon smart pot

Hey G liberty thanks for the info! I did water it twice since I planted it, tap h2o no nutes but I'm using fox farm happy frog organic soi which was sitting outside since June. Maybe it got too "hot" for the little gal?

Here's one more pic of thee baby glue next to an AC/DC clone than I just added to my grow! But I will not post about the AC/DC on this tread, I'll maybe make it's own.

. It's for my mom actually, the AC/DC. She has never taken or smoked cannabis, and like most of her generation, saw cannabis as a really bad drug until I informed her of the medicinal benefits. She suffers from migraines, depression, anxiety and gastrointestinal problems and takes at least half a dozen pills a day so I'm hoping the high CBD AC/DC is the answer!

Hey Mia reddog thank you! I am excited to see how this helps her! I will make a journal for the AC/DC and post the entire journey of helping my mom. I hope that this does change my mothers life for the better, and I hope that my mom and I are able to make a positive difference in someone's life!

Its been a few days, sorry, but no change on the clone but unfortunately the seedling didn't make it.

On the positive side, I finally got my gorilla lite tent in! I got the smallest one, 2x2.5 ft which I will have a 400w hps. Wondering if that's overkill for the tent, and worry about heat issues but I know it will be plenty of light, at about 80 w per sq ft. I do plan to have a filter and fan.
