Me and two friends all got notices we had new doctors in the last month(all vets..all V.A.)
Two of us went in today..diff locations..took the usual blood draw and piss test..
Before they even run my tox screen they are telling me that if I test positive for cannabis again they won't give me opiates...
The rest of my morning is probably best left untold..if you think I look foolish when I post in a bad mood you should hear me get loud in a hospital hallway..I haven't enjoyed echoes that much since I was three..and I didn't even have to walk to my truck..they were nice enough to give me a lift on the police golf cart...fucking pig bitches..

that suck and i feel for you sub rob find a private doctor and get some u.a's stored up in the freezer that way you can take them in with you when you have your monthly visit to get your refill make sure you got your prescribed meds in your samples it sucks that is what it comes to but you gotta do what you gotta do good luck friend

Imo a good beer should taste similar to og , strong n with bite, i prefer the hoppy piney ales with hints of bitter citrus...90% of the time, def no sweet flavored shit.... n im not a fan of the darker beers... but when its 100+ ice cold corona cant be beat...

Its no just vets... my homie had broke his back in a motorcycle accident. ... they piss test him everytime he sees the dr... he cant take one hit of ganja now or they cut u off.... totally fucked up but its america 2014 what do u expect marijuana is still evil look like meth n crack.... this is not recent... i first heard bout them doing this a full yr ago... total bs... keep ya head up sub best wishes...

fuck that.. I would fake the tests all together.. stay clean off weed for a while.. freeze my piss.. and use a field kit.. warm up piss.. fill up field kit belt.. put a fucking heating pad around it. and give them your old piss that shows ur clean from weed..

used this trick for probation for over 3 years.. so I could smoke my buds.

I'm sorry to hear of the situation you're in. I'm a service connected disabled vet and receive all of my medical care free of charge through VA due to my high disability rating. In my experiences, I've never had a doctor at VA la Jolla require a piss test before I was able to be seen and I've been in at least bi monthly for the past 4 years going through 6 major surgeries to reconfigure the left side of my body. That said, I've mentioned to them a few times I smoke, I've even walked in smelling of my greenhouse, and still never pee 'd in a cup. You may want to ask to have a new primary provider issued to you so yiu are able to get someone a bit more current with the times.

My doc also told me about VA centers allowing certain patients to now consume on property, however I am unable to locate anything from a .gov site that verifies this, a good start though:

Not sure how recently you tried this trick but I know for sure my piss wouldn't be clean for about 6 months or longer, I don't know how long Subs would take to get clean but I imagine it would be epic. My uncle surfs every day and has the lowest body fat % of anyone I've ever met, he also burns like 5-10 grams a day and tried to get clean for a new job.. Sure enough, 6 months to the day of no smoking and he still pissed dirty..

Just for the sake of conversation, its an interesting subject to me.. I have always thought it was fucked up that the most benign of drugs would last the longest showing metabolites.

Doomsday...just be careful...I'm 70% AND I just got a new care provider...4th floor..that was to be the first meeting with her..but I didn't make it all the way in to the exam...bro went to the firm clinic same day...to meet new provider and is being scaled down..he got 2/5 dose of percoset for the month...had a third friend go in Friday..well...bro's friend...been a zombie since last week so don't know what happened with him..
Actually learning a few things about my pain in this process...cycle up and down on diff meds but haven't gone without anything for years..certain pain didn't increase like I thought it would..like i was terrified it would..but I'm sore and hurt in places I didn't know...and stairs are a bitch without opiates..will see as I level out where I am...

And I've beaten drug tests before...almost every one I've ever taken..but never at the docs..just employment..I'm too fucking old to have to lie to my doctor and I'm ornery enough to prefer telling them to fuck themselves to having to go thru that kind of effort...will see if cannabis and extracts can keep me on that path

I want to first thank you for your service and what you put into this country. I also know how hard it is to get a 70 as I'm in the region myself, so thank you again as whatever you did for this country involved a great amount of giving on your behalf.

I will heed the warning on the docs as I'm still new to the system and I'm sure your speaking from a position of first hand knowledge on the subject. Sorry again to hear what your going through as I know what daily pain feels like and it's not a good morning..... ever.

I hear you Sub, I have been taken off the pain meds myself. No scale down wich is a crime in itself no warning too. I could handle things better if I were warned. A fucking letter or phone call?? Yeah it's something the VA systems are doing now over the past month. I got the Va no longer issue your medication anymore it has run out.
