hello icmag
just as the title says.i have 6 x clones 1 x 600watt
and no experience could this be a recipe for disaster,

the 6 clones are in canna terra soil 4ins pots.i plan on potting
them up tomorrow into 6.5ltr pots or should i go for 11ltr ?.

i read i should fill the pots and water them.then leave over night
then plant clones.is this right ?..

i will buy a fan for the floor tomorrow.how far should the bulb be from
clones also should i make a cage that goes around the light ?

any help would be appreciated...

Thanks pinkfan...

Depends. How big do you intend your plants to get by the end of stretch? Hand water, or will it be automated? Do you have daily access to your grow or no?

No need to wait, transplant then water to settle the coco around the roots.

Keep your light between 1-2ft away from the plants. Cage is optional.

any help would be appreciated...

Thanks pinkfan...

:tiphat: Clones look pretty decent to me.

Yeah those clones look spot on.

Depending how long you wanna veg depends on final container size.

Don't bother watering the new pots until your ready to transplant. Make sure your clones are dry...(ready to be watered) Dig out the hole, only put water in the bottom of the hole for the first watering...the roots will head towards it.

Then water normally.

I wouldn't cage the light...I'd cage the plants. Much easier for placement/watering/whatnot.

ahaha dude like everyone else said boy do those clones look good. I never get clones that good off of anyone which is why I only take cuttings now :D

i always have to nurse peoples crap back to health. Like everyone said make sure you give your medium a good run with your nutes. Then put your babes in there. Let it dry out a little to let your roots catch. look like you got some ladies with great potential !

Looks very good in here. How long you planning to veg?

The cage is some good advice. The earlier you start thinking about how you are going to restrain these girls, the better.

An 18" diameter is fine with a 600 watt, I always make mine out of chicken wire and lace the fan into the base so it cools the lamp

PF .... that won't work because as you raise the lamp the effect of the fan becomes negligible, when you lace your fan in put the base of the fan on one of the 2 sides where the cage is hung ...you can then get the cage as vertical as possible

If the clones are that small I'd advise you to get some coco and read HGO's thread on Coco RTW

6.5 Litre pots......6 plants @3-4 oz each should be no problem

Alright Bush Dr thanks for the info. do you mean attach the fan to the cage.so when i raise the cage the fan still cools the light.on the coco i cant afford it as i just bought 3 x canna soil and canna feed this is a job seekers allowance grow lol..Dam i wish i bought coco now:wallbash:

This grow has a lot of potential.
I use a 600 in a 4x4 and I get my GPW easy.
I would invite you to consider weaving plastic fencing behind the poles, but inside the fabric of the tent on the 3 walls. The door/wall will have no netting. I then train my plants to the wall and spread out as they move thru stretch.
I see you are growing in soil. In my opinion the 6.5 liter pot is better suited for coco than soil. But on that note I will sit back and watch this unfold:biggrin:

Yeah, don't despair at all!
You have all the ingredients for a successful grow, and the rapt attention of our community. Take good advantage of what you have, and work within your means. Some soil folks will come in and share with you the way they would use what you have.

And yes, I'm interested in those KaliBubbles:biggrin:
