Marlo is spot on about using any media......his grows are very good and you should check them out......soil is probably a simpler bet for your first grow

with where ur clones are in size compared to ur seeds id suggest running them in small pots under the light inside the donut of ur larger clones. 6 nice plants like urs veg'd taller to fill the vertical canopy will be more than enough to fill it. U will have to prune some branches once u get them big enough to take advantage of the canopy anyway.
