Just heard on the News some guy Flying From Philadelphia to the Caribbean "joked" that he'd been to west africa and Mentioned Ebola?
Then they show guys in Bio Hazard suits on the Plane
Apparently he'd been Coughing....

did anyone catch that story where they killed that ladies dog just as precaution...watching how it goes in Africa will be interesting as rural areas got animals everywhere among the villages and such...what are they gonna do wipe out all of africas animals as a precaution... pray for my family friend he is a missionary in sierra leone and has been for lmany many years.. we sponsored a kid there as we knew our funds made it through him..father jim...

well they killed the dog without even testing it..so they must think it carries over to other animals too...African villages have all kinds of animals and pets....didn't pigs have it once too...wouldn't want to be in Africa..the ones that don't get it and die just might starve.. that palm tree sap spread it due to bats slurping up the sap from the buckets hung in trees..sort of like how maple syrup is collected

This is much bigger than anybody thinks. It is already in 9 states, but the government wont admit it till much later. Obama told yet another lie, that Ebola wouldn't make it to the united states. Now he is telling people if we ground our flights in west Africa it will make Ebola worse? Does anybody listen to our president anymore? It's almost like, the president said this, the opposite must be happening. Guy is a compulsive liar, and dirt bag to match.

I am not sure if this is going to get out of control or not, but I am glad I am one of those crazy preppers. Grow my own food, got my own water source, 6 months of freeze dried food for every member of the family. America is heading to a humbling, be prepared for your family and neighbors sake.

we never called it prepping it was surviving the harsh north winters in a rural area lol..even now I got a stockpile its ingrained in my dna at this point...plenty of wildlife here too...we need to send obama to Africa to shake hands with villagers and re assure them they will be ok too...

Speaking of America's premier virologist, did you see that he issued contradictory information to what the CDC is putting out? Obama sees no problem with sitting next to ebola carriers on public transportation - after all, he and Whoopi Goldberg know that it cannot be transmitted other than via bodily fluids. This must be a great comfort to all of the medical personnel that are trying to figure out how in the hell they got the disease.

over 200 aid workers have died out of 3000 people, quite high a figure for all the precautions they are meant to take.

its only tomro that they will start screening people in jfk. no screening coming into my country.

I had a friend who left Siearra Leone because of the outbreak, but she just reported that the area she left is now Ebola free.

The story here (supposedly) is the health workers are sent into secure areas where they have suits, gloves, the whole deal. Then after their shifts they decide to work in the regular parts of the hospital, where they contract the disease from un-verified Ebola patients. IMO, if Ebola was spread in the air we would have a much bigger outbreak by now. But who in the world would chance it?

The way the hospitals sterilize people is spray them with a 5-10% bleach solution. Stock up on bleach next.

Viruses tend to mutate. Recall first hearing of Ebola (EHF...Ebola hemorrhagic fever) back in the late 1970's. Easiest way to transmit, through infected blood. Since then, it's morphed and until a consisent vaccine is available, or other strong measures of pre-caution, it will continue to (sadly) spread.

And country-wide quarrantine in the near future.

Probably airlines will draw a line in the sand soon. Even before this outbreak, airlines did not clean cabins between flights. Scary.

Most likely, communicable areas (medical centers, airports, schools, immigration offices, etc.) will up the ante (percentage of bleach solution:water) and use high heat as a source to eradicate.

maybe not airborn spread so to speak but bodily fluids flying throught the air landing on you unknowingly deff seems to spread it. ie coughing/sneezing ect.how far and long can a bodily fluid stay in the air??? I don't want to find out in person... there is 5 kinds of ebola too only 4 are supposedly able to pass to humans...
