Ballpark village in STL just exploded. Let's see if we can hang on though! 
I want this series to go 5 so I hope LA comes back tonight but it ain't looking too good right now. That place exploded after the home run from Adams.

Don Mattingly is the dumbest manager in baseball. He just did deja vu all over again. Or was it Ground Hog Day? At any rate, once again, it was apparent that Kershaw lost his command, exactly like the previous game, but the manager learned nothing from the previous debacle and left him in there again. It was truly unbelievable. He should have been out of the game as soon as the second base runner got on. DUMB!!!!

We were saying the same thing about Shelby Miller being left in (slightly) too long.
Good game though. It's was pretty close.

There were many points during this season where I doubted the Cards were even going to make the playoffs. We hit like shit all year. Just played really inconsistent all year. Yadi coming back really breathed some new life into the team though. He has incredible influence on the field.
4th NLCS in a row. If that's as far as we go this year, we'll take it!

Fun stat: With Dodgers eliminated, the team with the top payroll has only won 4 times in last 20 years (Yankees in '96, '99, '00, '09).

So good to see the Dodgers get knocked out of post season play .... Kershaw is good in regular season.... but seems to lose it in post season play
Yes, and everyone but the manager saw him losing it. Two games in a row. Inexcusable. I hate to say bad things about Mattingly, being an ex-Yankee great, and my neighbor when he played for the Yanks. He lived on my street, and he even looks like my twin brother. People used to come up to me and ask me for my autograph, and I would tell them, "no, I'm not him", LOL. If only I could hit....
You do not have to pay. All sporting events are streamed over the internet, including baseball. Go to:
www.wiziwig.tv.
Click on "baseball", or whatever sport you want to watch. There will be numerous streams, some Flash, and some stream torrents. You need to download "Streamtorrent" to watch the stream torrent games. The stream torrent called "Coburg" is the best quality at the moment. It takes a minute or 2 or 3 for the torrent to load, so don't be discouraged when the initial message comes up that the "page is not available", or any other errors. Once it buffers, the stream will come up. I can watch multiple streams of different games in windows on my screen. Football/baseball, side by side.
That's only one site. There are dozens of sites that stream sports, and other TV also, but Wiziwig is the best one, IMO. I have never missed any game/fight, etc. And, they have ALL games, not just the ones in your area.

Nope. The cheapest DSL line is plenty enough to support several streams simultaneously. $15 a month. You have to pay for internet anyway. Just hook your PC to your TV, and you are in business. I have an HDMI cable from my PC to TV. Also, every cable show is available to download, as well as all network shows. You don't need cable at all if you have even the cheapest DSL connection. Since you are on this site, that means you are already paying for internet, so your point escapes me.

I can pay an extra ($15 a month ONLY) to my internet/cable bill to watch anything ppv, etc... All's I gotta do is hook my HDMI cable fr my PC to my TV, type(enter) www.wiziwig.tv. into the search engine, down load the stream torrent called "Coburg" (for best quality), wait a min or 3 while I take a smoke break so I don't get impatient, and then BAM I'm never missing another game/fight/etc... Am I missing something here... -F.S

You don't have to pay anything extra. You already have an internet connection. You download "streamtorrent", not Coburg. Coburg is simply the name of one of the streamers. There are thousands of people around the world streaming everything, and what isn't streamed, is available to download via torrent. There isn't a single show I cannot download. If you are downloading torrents of TV series, you can use a VPN (virtual private network), which runs your downloads through servers out of the country anonymously. That makes all your internet activity invisible. Costs only $10-$15 monthly for that security, which is optional, but well worth it.
Just go to Wiziwig and read the instructions. Not complicated. Streamtorrent not necessary. Flash works too, but it's good to have StreamTorrent. Costs nothing and gives you more streaming options.

In the last 4 world series the only 2 NL teams to make an appearance were the Giants and the Cardinals. Looks like we are going for #5.
Hope we do better than 2012 when we blew a 3-1 game lead!
Now it's time to buy/win/beg/borrow/steal tickets for this weekend
