The Smell!!! The smell is like a Sour Patch Candy in skunk funk...I cant wait to see/taste how she finishes. Monday is chop day ill be sure to get some harvest day pictures. Thanks again PF and to everybody following along.

Got some dry bud shots. Some of the bigger buds and some lowers. Even with no cure this girl has a special taste. Sour with the right amount of sweet and a background of chemmy kush. Sorta reminds me of Bogs Sour Bubble crossed with a OG Chem. Shes a keeper for sure and its been a few years since ive found a true keeper(and thousands of $ on seeds) Potency wise shes up there with my Fuel and maybe better but hard to tell until ive had her a little longer and get a cure on her. Stink wise during drying she put off a smell you could smell all through the house and my wife usually hates smell of weed anymore but she said "man that smells good". Ill be back with a real smoke report once the buds are cured.

When you say fade what do you mean? and how is it done?
When you flush the plant that's when it will get it's fade.
Fading is when you give plain water at the same amount you usually use starting 21 days before harvest day. Flushing is when you dump 2x or more then normal amount of water on them right around last week of bloom. Fading and flushing are 2 different styles of finishing plants in my opinion and flushing is pointless i think or at least a waste compared to a proper fade. I dont flush ever but ive been fading plants for 7 years or more and have done 14 day fades compared to 21 day fades on same plants ran for years and the 21 day is a step up in finished product quality compared to 14 day or even 18 day fades.

Thanks JW! Someday il run into a gg#4 clone and ill let you guys know how they compare. Everybody loves the S1 i gave out in my area and im pretty sure the original is a few steps above the S1 in quality. No chocolate in the S1 at 63 days so going to run her 70 this time see how she finishes.
Ya well that's the same process I pretty much do. I stop feeding weeks before I am about ready to take them down. I consider that a flush as well just because you arent feeding the plant anything except water. I never looked at it as a fade but can see why it would be called that.
But Ya I feel flushing dumping tons of water through your plants is kinda pointless unless you are trying to correct something.
