There is only one team that should be 4-0 right now and that is the Colts. Thanks to the refs they are 2-2. Soon to be 3-2 after the beat down of the Ravens happens.

The colts are good but they still are missing some things on defense. And yeah they got screwed on a few important calls, but by the end of the season just about every team will be able to say that.

Dallas's D is still in bad shape. We will see. If they stick to running the ball, they can win some games. Super bowl? I don't think so.

Ottoman, why the hate on cauldwell, just cause he looks like that cartoon character bebe. And brees, he seems like a decent person that does a lot for his community. I kinda like his story, nobody wanting to take a 1st round chance on him cause of his size, and now is one of the top qb's in the game. that kind of story is why I love sports.

maybe this is romo's and dallas's year. got the solid o line, defense is causing turnovers, morris is finally gone (lol), if romo can play mistake free football for a 3-4 game stretch in the playoffs they could be hoisting a lombardi in february. right? anyone? anyone?

I'm calling bullshit, the cowboys will never even reach the superbowl w/romo.......

I understand that romo holds the record for 4th quarter comebacks, sounds impressive until you clean the shit outta your ears and realize that it actually means he's continually playing catch up.

niners vs bengals in the bowl...just sayin

colts still cant run effectively, and don't have much of a D...bad calls happen and losses are sometimes a direct result of them but 4-0...nope.

I actually think the colts run game might be coming on with bradshaw looking good so far. It will be interesting to see if Richardson can get over the hump and start to produce.

Niners and bengals eh... I think the niners are in trouble with all their defensive player wo's, and I don't know that im truly sold on kapernick being elite, whatever that means. lol

The Bengals are an interesting story though. That could happen this year.

I hope the Vikings throw Harnish in there. Cant be a downgrade from ponder. We seen what he can do with the best runner in the game,... nothing. Of course he did have nobody to throw to though.

bradshaw's already got his foot in a walking-cast...with his history I don't think he will have much left to contribute once that foot starts to bother him...and t-rich has no burst, patience, field of vision is poor...when has he ever looked like a good back?

niners D shut down the highest scoring offense in the game last week...phily didn't even make it past the 50 until the 4th quarter...if we can make it to thanksgiving with a decent record all of the defensive studs will be back and FRESH for the stretch....kaepernick isn't an elite qb...nor is dandy andy...you need much more than a great qb to win the big one(2013 broncos ring a bell?) that being said I think our offense has some tightening up to do, but the weapons are all in place...just a matter of getting all the pieces working together. fwiw keep an eye/ear out for rookie OLB aaron lynch this week...he's been making some big plays and it is very likely that when aldon returns lynch gets subbed in over brooks @ ROLB and we have the craziest pass rushing olb's in the league with arguable the best ILB tandem in the game(bowman & willis)....cox went from the bench to PFF's #1 corner...when brock is back culliver will be on the bench or playing the dime...our safety's are good, ried's in his 2nd year and was a probowl safety last year, bethea is a solid veteran that's been playing really well....front 3 is no slouch either with Justin smith on the left that always does the job of 2 DE's...shit Williams(who beat out Dorsey in camp in 2013, and is technically the #1 NT on the depth chart got put on ir last season wk 2 in seattle, w/ Dorsey being the #2 played well in his place last season) and McDonald are pretty good too

Agreed deez, niners D was excellent last week not giving up one point, 2 special teams TD's allowed and pick 6. If their D can play like that they'll be just fine but Kaep has to keep the bad decisions to a minimum. The pick 6 wasn't even the most annoying thing he did that game, when they tried to draw the eagles offsides on a 4th and short at mid field instead of taking the 5 yard penalty and giving the punter some extra room to work with he instead calls and waste a timeout! the little thing like that will cost you in the end IMO. Pound the ball with Gore and Hyde and use that to make the play action work, Kaep is at his best when he is out of the pocket making thing happen with his arm or legs.

Miracle Meds, LOL love the bebe comparison. On Brees I don't know he just seems like a bullshitting asshole to me. I think it was his stupid speech that got filmed after he broke that passing record.

This is an awful game tonight I'm going to bed early.

same could be said of luck thus far in his career...he's super talented but has a way of getting behind and having to play captain comeback pretty frequently

agreed on the timeout, harbaugh was rightfully PISSED...situational football needs to be something that you understand BEFORE you go to the nfl....the pick 6 was bad but watching that play over and over has me realizing it was just a helluva call and play on philly's D...they showed man and the dude dropped into zone...he was in a perfect position to make the play, I think that would have fooled a lot of qb's...not to say it wasn't frustrating as F

gore is looking like he's ready to put up another 1000yd season, if he does it means good things for the niners in general imho...abandoning the run in the gameplan has done nothing but hurt the team over the last few seasons, I don't know why roman thinks that's going to change?

ponder sucks....bad.

You can't call bullshit, it's all bullshit until it actually happens. :tiphat:

Cowboys defense has been playing good actually. Running game and offensive line looks good too. As long as Romo doesn't throw too many interceptions (ha) they will do well.

I see a very juicy bet for this weekend:
Jets vs Chargers @ San Diego. Chargers favored by 7. Jets never play well on west coast. Chargers playing great, and Phillip Rivers is @ top of his game. Jets have NO pass defense. They lost Revis & Cromartie, and their draft pick is a bust. They have no one to stop River's passing attack, and no one to match up with Antonio Gates. This game will be a blowout for the Chargers.

The colts made enough mistakes in both games to lose. Cant blame the refs for turnovers and times they got stuffed at the goal line by the opposing team defense. This has been discussed already.

Yes you can Fazer. Especially if you are a homer like me. LOL! A team only needs to be good enough to beat the other team. It should not need to be good enough to beat the other team and the refs.

I know it was discussed. I just like to keep it out there for discussion. Because once the Colts reach 14-2 I don't want people to forget that they should have been 16-0.

Colts are coming and they don't need no stinkin defense or running game even though they do have those things. They got Luck.

The Bengals do not have enough of anything to make it to the Super Bowl whadeez. Lets judge them again after this weekend. I think the Bengals are going to get demolished by the Patriots this week. I would not want to be the team that had to play the Patriots after that loss they had.

There is a lot of regular season left and lots can happen. There will be some team making noise at the end that we are not even talking about right now.

IMO, in todays NFL it is difficult to take much out of early season games because the gap between really goid teams and poor ones isnt that huge. So yeah you will see shitty teams beating supposed good ones due to emotional swings and the normal trends that all teams go thru. Fir example I thought the ravens would lose to the panthers because the pan got embarrassed by the steelers the wk before but then i realized steve smith was returning and his emotion alone would skew the results and that is what I beleive happened. I agree that the pats should be pissed and should beat cincy but does that mean they are any good or just a one weak abnormality?

pats are looking bad, bengals are good enough across the board to field a solid team...pats got so blown out they pulled brady and put in a rookie,, I thought the pats would pull it off last week but this is the season the pats go below .500...neither of the wins the pats have are against a quality opponent(they ALMOST got beat @ home by the RAIDERS!?! the frickin raiders) Belechick must have someone on the draft radar he's willing to throw the season for lmfao

it's a game with 22 people on the field at any given moment....the emotional aspect of one player hardly inspires an entire team....football is about 11 guys on offense/defense, each of which has their own job to do, their own assignments etc...if one guy misses his assignment or uses he wrong techniques the burden of their mistakes are put on the remainder of their teammates...its 11 individual battles going on at once...football isn't all "we are marshall" & "remember the titans" not to say that teams can't get fired up for games and execute well...I just think the emotional aspect of the game is given to much credit, especially these days with free agents going from team to team, there's a revenge game every week....and the league LOVES having this emotional tie storyline to plug into every fuggin hole they can...it's severely blown out of proportion, but we as fans eat this shit up so they keep on feeding it.

God I love football. Its the only sport that I watch the whole season at the pro level. All the other sports I just watch playoffs.

When the niners get all their defensive guys back, they will be the best D in the league. But did they finally get the receiving core they need? How long can Frank Gore go on? Who is their back up running back, I cant remember?

I really thought the colts D would be coming into a quality squad by now. They had Dungy and couldn't really put it together. Now another D coach, will Pagano get their defense playing like top 5. Do they have the players?

Seems like Seattle is slightly under the radar, if u can be after winning a super bowl. A healthy Percy Harvin all season, might spell trouble for the rest of the league. I think they could use another quality receiver though. But there D should be one of the best again.
