Dont mean to hijack.... have 6 pans fems vegging..

all seem to be pretty uniform but there is this one... ( always is isnt it????lol) thats seems to be pretty indica dominant...

Usual traits .. leaves etc....

But it is beating the heck out of the other girls in veg..

Very strong looking, stem... etc.... growing like a weed. (who woulda thunk..??)

Outperforming the other 5 in veg.... not saying.... the other girls are getting along great....

anyone ever run across this pheno ?? ( Dubi)...??

Have other plans for the next grow and didnt anticipate taking clones but..... ????????

Thinks I will clone her to see what happens...

I s there a such thing as an indica leaning Panama???

Dubi or others???

thanks

Thats interesting... a pic would be nice! :)

Please Keep reporting if this indica dominant lady is flowering faster too than the other plants.

For me, this one fem. seed/plant is like a test grow... i sure will grow more Panamas in the future i think cause i'm in love :ying: must be 4 -5 weeks of flowering now.

2 weeks before:

Hey everyone,

Just a quick update on some of my genetics being grown outdoors by a buddy of mine.I gifted a friend of mine genetics to get him started on his first outdoor grow.I was excited as my stuff has never been run outside. What I was curious about was the different expressions we would get in an outdoor environment compared to what I am used to seeing from indoor grows.I have been running this Panama cut for almost two years now and have never seen this color on any of my indoor grows.Very exciting to see how she continues to develop outdoors.Stay tuned, take care and be well my friends :)

p.s. more photos to come in the upcoming weeks.I know the difference in the color is due to to UV rays(have I got that right?

Edit: More pics :)

Wow, this looks cool... not from this world! :abduct:

Agreed! I adore that vibrant magenta color. Though, I was under the impression, based on the description at the beginning of the thread, that the coloration was primarily dependent on genetic rather than environmental variables?

BTW Mitsuharu, lovely plant you've got there. You make me wish I had a nice sun-facing window to try a bit of window growing.

Natural sunlight is an amazing thing, huh?

Dunno that it's the UV or just intense broad spectrum visible light giving the color. If you normally grow under CMH, it's probably UV. If not, you might try CMH to see how that works.

It's remarkable that plants have the adaptability to do well under HPS. It's just as remarkable that some strange twists in human history have led to indoor cultivation of cannabis at all.

If we think about it more than just a little bit, it's one of the silliest things humans have ever done.

I presume the indoor cultivation of plants, in general, has long been commonplace, particularly among the sufficiently wealthy peoples in history, but the case of cannabis is indeed very silly. Entire industries created and devoted to supplanting nature because of the irrational fear and marginalization of the cannabis plant. I suppose, as the Cable Guy once said, necessity is the mother of invention. ;)

so how many different panama phenos are there? from what i gather reading this thread, this i what i come up with:

one green pheno.
one tall red pheno (lemon incense).
a pink pheno?
a foxtailing longer flowering white pheno.
a shorter flowering? purple pheno that panacanna grew.
a longer flowering purple pheno that was mentioned by dubi much earlier in this thread.

btw - great looking plants, guys. i want to take pics of mine outside, but i don't want to seem too conspicuous to the neighbors and whoever else is watching. there's always someone watching :) dried flowers and a smoke report is a promise from me, though.

Another photo of the Panama gal outdoors.

Someone mentioned whether the color was genetic or environmental,if I am not mistaken I believe it is both.Perhaps my setup does not facilitate seeing such lovely colors indoors, hard to say.To be honest I never worried that much about it as the individual I am running is so good I am thrilled with it regardless of the color it throws.

I did have a question for those with more experience than I with outdoor grows. The Panama has always finished easily indoors in about nine weeks or so. At the end of Aug. all the plants around the Panama started throwing pistils and the Panama was almost three weeks later than the rest of the plants showing hairs.I know on my gal indoors she comes on like gang busters the last week and half or so.However, the photo in this post was from yesterday and I am a bit concerned whether we get her done in time.Any thoughts from my friends out there?

Take care and be safe everyone :)

Edit: Next week I will share photos of the three foot colas starting to form up.These gals are just beasts. My friend had to move some of these giants and we didn't realize how big these gals were until we separated them from their neighbors.Average height is about 10'-12' tall.Shoot they didn't even get out until the end of June.Just thrilled with how well my buddy is doing with these gals.

Hi Ace seed and CBG team ! :huggg:

I'm actualy growing a Panama seed and i'm realy fan of your work.
But i'have questions about this seed, my first question is about the tolerance of that seed, is it too low than the OTH ?
Then, what is the pheno which is closest to the original Panama Red of 74' ?
Then abaout my Panama, do you think I could cut the 20/25 October ? (i live in the French south in mountain).
I would take a picture of the trichome in the week end but if you've just an idea with this pics it would be nice.
And for the end, do you think that it's the early of a red pheno or just an oxydation of the pistils ?

Thanks you, pinpin :)

Ps: Sorry for my bad english lvl, i'm french...

That would be me. It may very well be a combination of factors. I've never had trouble with plants, which were genetically inclined, expressing their color in the setup I've used, even though it only goes down to about 18 C at its lowest. Sadly, I definitely don't get those very unique "autumn" colors that I see on a lot of plants grown with significant temp drops. As you said, I'm thrilled regardless of color, but I can't help but have a love for ornamental plants.
