To be honest, I'm not really that great at seeing them. But I've got a pretty good feel for overall ripeness. It usually is irrelevant anyway, because I always end up "needing" to chop earlier then I want to. This was the longest I've let the bluedigiberry, and my og go. I dint know about most legit OG's, but this one could probably go 12 weeks, if I wanted. It's pretty freakin good at 9 weeks, so this round should be nice.

That is the question I'm waiting to answer myself! I usually get around .6g/watt from one horizontal 600. I know those aren't great numbers, but I guess I haven't found enough high yielding strains yet? I would be thrilled with 1g/watt, but .6 will work.
I've thing I can say for sure about vertical vs horizontal: I am getting very little larfy popcorn from my vert screens compared to my horizontal screens. Should have numbers in a couple more days.

Ive taken stringy spindly strains that got no better that .4 or .5gpw, and got .9gpw by the stacked lights. So Im sure those same strains for u will pump out more with the advantage of the side lighting hitting both sides of branches in the middle. As long as u got ur plants big enough to fill in their space. Hell I was even a foot short of my 5' goal on plant height and still added 20 to 30% more by putting both lights in the same donut. Heres to hoping u see 20 to 30% increase over what 2 normal lights would do!!!

Great grow Gil! The lack of larf is exactly why I'm still running vert.

Thanks everyone for checking in and dropping advice! I think I'll stick to the one donut for now.
After many hours of trimming and snipping,I finally have a grand total...

A hair over 700 grams. (25oz)
.58g/w

Not the biggest yield, but it's pretty much all solid bud. There is practically zero larf for the hash pile. I'm not sure how most OG's yield, but this one isn't the biggest. It makes up for it in the smell/taste/high dept though.

All in all I'm pretty satisfied with my first vertical experience. I think now that I have a better feel for the training, I'm going to bump the yield quite a bit.

I've got some clones vegged up and ready to go. I just need a few hours to clean out the buckets, and reset everything. So next round should be coming very soon!

Light movers don't do much when u have bulbs stacked already. They do cause a lot of headaches and another spot for something to go wrong.

Not when they are stacked closer. Also Gill if you didn't want to add more lights you could run two donuts each with a 600 and light mover...MOAR YIELD! Got that idea from Marlo :)

Also don't know about you but I often get buds bleached by the lights and burnt yellow leafs closest to the light. The light mover has solved this problem. On top of that the constantly changing angle of light better penetrates the canopy. Wish I started using a light mover years ago.

That's cool that it works for u. For me I use stacked lights to get full light on all angles of the plants. The mover just gives it full light on that angle when it passes by, like 25% of the time if u look at it like 1/4 of the time at the top of plant, upper 3/4 of plant, bottom side of the plant, and the base of the plant.

I do agree that light bleaching can happen, that's where I try and pay close attention and tie back as necessary.

When I stacked my lights vs doing 1 light donuts, the difference was about a 20 to 30% gain over the single light runs. Have u tried stacking lights?

If u have a single light source per area ur growing in then I can see using movers. But all the trials I have done with lights side by side always outperformed moving them.
