sproles fantasy value was falling off in new Orleans the last couple seasons....chip Kelly seems to be using him the right way, and shady will also benefit from a little rest here and there...sproles looks like he hit the fountain of youth though...dude had burst!

t-rich was looking a lot faster this week...wonder if he's gonna pull himself outta the bust rut.

lack of pass rush for sure is a problem, fangio needs to dial up some more blitzes(he traditionally expects the front 7 to get enough pressure without a blitz)...there were at least 3 plays where we could have blitzed ward and had willis or reid in coverage on marshall in the endzone ...need to get dial and carradine in the mix as well...but hey there's always one "wtf just happened" loss in the start of the season for us, and week 2 has been tough in the harbaugh era.. hopefully brock is back this week, although cox had a good game and had a bunch of potential picks slip right through his fingers....

your measured by how you respond, so we will see...

3.8 yards per carry and two fumbles in that game I'd say t-rich is still a bum I mean bust. His Week 1 performance was dismal as well. Bradshaw is obviously the better option Imo.

Chip Kelly is an excellent coach, next best coach in the league IMO. He is great at using his players at what they're good at and not putting them in situations to fail. Also he is changing the league with his conditioning program and you can tell it's working well when you can sign a 31 year old rb and make him look 5 years younger. My only issue with Philly his the qb he isn't looking as sharp as last year and no way can he keep coming back from 14+ point down and keep winning games.

Sf blew that game hard, bad loss for them IMO. Kaep again showed his immaturity and that d was exposed a bit by the big receivers of the bears. My biggest problem wit that game was that sf should have been up way more at half and they just never stabbed Chicago in the jugular. Worst part was the chi wrs we're beat up and hurting too. I thought the game would be close but in reality it shouldn't have been.

Everyone is salivating over Sproles' performance so far.
Yeah, I guess if you extrapolate his performance over a full season he'd have 2000 yards receiving and 20 tds.
It's just 2 games. True, after a good first couple seasons in New Orleans, his stats dropped off. They have a stable of RBs in NO, Pierre, Ingram, Khiry that need touches.

Even the 0-2 teams, statistics say 88% dont make the playoffs. Well, most of those teams suck so thats why.
Look at houston last year, started 2-0 and didn't win another game. Who's to say the Saints wont finish 14-2? Or the Colts?

But not the Giants. I predict a 3-4 win season for them. They wont even have their usual second half surge that pushes them near .500

Not sure who I should start this weekend as my fantasy QB....

Nick Foles is on my bench, but I got Peyton as my QB1 right now. I'm seriously considering benching Peyton and plugging in Foles.

That 12th man is gonna be tough to beat for Peyton and Co., but I was thinking Denver might be in the mood for some revenge for last year....plus they get Welker back...and Denver is 2-0...Then again, the matchup for Foles should be a good one...decisions, decisions.....

Moreno going down really hurt me at RB...and it's slim pickings for RBs in my league right now. Oh, well. That's Fantasy football for you...

GO 9ers!!!!!

HB.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the hawks drop this one at c'link...big game for Julius ahead.

indy and philly could turm into a shootout and colts d isn't bad but it's hard to put peyton on the bench regardless of a more favorable matchup.

Who thought the falcons would be up 56-0 at one point?
That's like Alabama playing West arkansas state or something.
Poor Lovie. I was partial to him in Chicago and thought he got a raw deal for being fired after a 10 win season, but man.

i have welker but not starting him. 1st game back, against the seahawks in seattle. he's got concussion issues, one good pop by kam and it's game over.
not having a good vibe. which means he'll probably catch 2 tds, haha.

didnt see the san diego game, but wasnt there a big difference in time of possession? that'll tire out any D, even seattles. maybe the broncos copy their gameplan, does that mean julius thomas goes nuts? bobby wagner is pretty fast but he cant keep up with julius. earl thomas? kam? maybe the seahawks will just do what they did in Feb and shut down denver's O.

i think denver will win. their o-line is stronger than last year, seattle's dline depth is weaker. peyton will have figured out different ways to attack them by watching film of the superbowl until his eyes bleed. or maybe he scratches them out.

actually, the fact that denvers d is better than last year will probably be the deciding factor in this game. Keep beast mode in teddy bear mode, keep russell in the pocket, hit percy so hard his hips fly out of their sockets (or whatever), they could keep seattle under 21 pts.
denver 34 seattle 20

That game was insane it was 28-0 at the end of the first quarter it was very surprising and entertaining

I agree with you that Denver is gonna take this one from seattle. The team we saw in the superbowl did not play like how they did all season long last year. Our defense is stepping up and they
have 17 new starters that weren't playing last year due to injuries/new players. It should be a great game.

Denver's defense got helped by the refs or Indy would have beat them by two scores in Denver.

And to the other poster why would you switch Foles for Manning. He was crappy and only won against Indy because the refs handed the Eagles the game.

OH YEAH I am back on an Indy rant. They were freakin screwed twice and should be 2-0.

Fuck Denver and Philly. They were not better than the Colts. This is the part I hate about the NFL. The refs.

Penalties should be reviewable if they want the games to be fair.

THAT IS ALL!

Even the colts don't blame the refs for their losses. Colts kill themselves as much as the refs hurt them. Denver's defense is what almost lost the game i saw.

Colts made plenty of mistakes to lose both games. One call by the refs? The refs were giving the colts calls that I didn't agree with. The broncos were up 24-0 at half. They laid down and let the colts come back in the game. Fuck the colts all I got to say. Your just mad cause your team lost boo hoo. Maybe your colts will get it this week.

Denvers defence held the colts to 2 goal line stands. And they stopped Andrew Luck on his last drive to try to TIE the game not WIN it. I would say the defence won that game. The denvers offence laid down in the second half and didn't do anything.

yeah well i believed that happened last game too? chiefs lost by 1 TD. Whether its the defense or offense, they gotta get it together and stop being complacent.

Guys, guys, haven't we agreed that the colts are going 14-2.
haha.
seriously though, you think houston's going to win that division. Theyre 2-0 but they have Fitzpatrick at qb. Can watt play QB?
Jacksonville? hahahahahaha. If they start bortles the rest of the year they might win 5 games.
Tennessee? Another 8-8 season at best, unless Locker becomes something more than Tim Tebow 2.0
colts will probably win the division, by virtue of having the least warts in that division, combined with the best qb.

well I am going to finally bet some hard earned this season I usually wait another week or two but I am really liking a couples games this week.

All this Indy talk is spot on to one of the games I am gonna bet. Indy 0-2 going in to Jax I think this is safer game to bet line is at Indy -7. I'll probably buy a half point to put it at 6.5 because I think Indy is gonna beat them by at least a touchdown. I don't feel much explanation has to go with the pick.

SF -3 at Zona......I am loving the niners today coming off a bad loss, and playing a team they have historically dominated. Not to mention Kaep always plays well against Zona. Lets not forget Drew Stanton will also be starting the game.

Don't know if i'll bet it but if I do it will be a smaller amount but my upset of the week is going to be Giants over the Texans. He is my reasoning Giants are a desperate home dog team, i'd take the points with the giants and think they'll even win out right.

Game of the week Broncos at Hawks -4.5. I won't be betting on this game but am excited to watch it. I really think this is a toss up game and couldn't argue either side covering. My gut tells me that the Hawks will cover and win, they're coming off a loss and playing at home. Also we saw what that hawks D did in the Superbowl. I know its a different year but that Hawks D is just as nasty if not more this year. I wouldn't be shocked if Peyton put them at 1-2 to start the season, I think we can all agree Peyton might be the best regular season QB of all time, playoffs is a different story.
