FWIW, Chris from HR told me to measure The Dirty by grams, not EC. He says the carbon items in the mix throws of the numbers. I used EC first gal used, it took 2x recommended dose....but the plant is looking great. I have 3 SDK plant, and have been doing a sided side x side with RO vs Dirty vs modified 6/9. So far 6/9 is ahead in veg, Dirty next, then RO. I did a side by side with 6/9 vs RO version a long time ago, yield was close, but RO version did not veg as fast. Chris says to use +SIZE as foliar to increase veg growth. He also said trust your plants, not his opinion on proper dose to feed using any of the products. He gave me a sample of the Tap water version, and said people are raving about mixing it with The Dirty. I will have to wait on that experiment for a minute. Will keep updated progress on SDK plants

Lost a whole room using that method. Chris is an idiot and that Dirty product is shit. We literally tossed out 15lbs of it after using 5lbs of it.

It should also be noted the powder was like 1 big clump of rock by the time we were tossing it. Rh in the building was 40%. Didn't seem extreme.

I'm having the best success of my 23 year career using Veg Bloom and size. I'm using the tap water formula.

I believe you, I am just passing info along. And no offense, why would you switch a whole room to the Dirty without trying on a plant or 2? Kind of your own fault too. I would never switch a whole room to a new nute without trying on a couple plants start to finish. That being said, it is a bummer and I am sorry for your bad experience. I am tring it out on a strain I have done many times., so I know what the difference is. Take care

Because we have 6 of them. It's a nightmare to try and "test" a couple of plants when you have a commercial grow.

Just finishing up a round of the GG4 running the tap/dirty combo in fwok. The +size has these girls literally gushing resin. I ran 4-5 grams per gallon of the combo and at weeks 3-6 ran +size at 1 gram per gallon. very happy with the outcome :tiphat:

Very nice and looks on point for sure. I still don't understand how anyone can go wrong with this stuff? I'm sure you will be sticking with this formula? I don't think you are going to get much better personally.
Great job!!

I grow in coco that I reuse over and over. It's generic coco in a brick form from a local shop in berkeley. I think I pay about 14 bucks for two bricks.. I use 2 gal smart pots drain to waste and never flush.

Wow Humble, looks killer!
I'm seeing varying recommendations for the V+B / dirty combo.. do you chose the tap version because of your local water? I'm assuming the primary difference in the RO vs the Tap versions is cal/mag content; My local water is on the soft side and I'm in coco-- wondering if the RO would be recommended for my setup? And what are your thoughts on the FWOK? can you compare using it to grow cubes (crutons)? How's the prep?
thanks for thoughts and insights, keep killin it

My tap is 144... chris recommended the ro ...

Its not going to work with every water situation .... i've proved that . but i now use the RO version with 0 water & i couldn't ask for better results !!! period !!! & the cost compared to canna's full line ..... a no brainer !!!!

Dan so I was looking through your albums and I looked through your gg4 2000w glue tent. One of the first pictures on page 7, your plants are like 12 inches big in 5 gallon buckets. I am new to coco and was wondering what your watering cycle is like at this stage. How many times are you watering a week and are you watering until run off or just getting the coco wet?

they are in 3.5 gallon buckets & i feed once a day for 3 minutes till i get good runoff the first few weeks , then as the runoff slows down or stops I add more time to the feed . i'll add a minute or 90 seconds till i get i good runoff again & once it slows down or stops again i'll add more time . i do this till harvest . i usually only have to adjust twice during an 8 to 10 week cycle .

Nice I appreciate you takin the time. Do your plants suck up most of the liquids by the end of the day. My pots seem to stay kind of heavy until about 2-3 days after I feed em. Should I run fresh feed thru them every day until I see a bit of run off or should I let my roots go searching until they start drinking more?

This is happening to some of my older leaves. Does this look like light burn or a deficiency to you guys? Plants are about 10 days into veg. Sprayed them with DM Liquid Light and Saturator at half the recommended dose 1.5 hours after my lights turned on. Turned my t5 on half power. They are getting 300ppm veg+bloom which comes out to .2grams +life/gal 1.7grams veg+bloom/gal
