Hello all. Im 4 weeks into flower, ive got a 12 site ebb and grow and their mother in 7gal soil. 1K for the hydro and a 400 to get what i can outta the mother for BHO. Ive had this problem come up a few times now and cant figure out the solution on my own. My ph and temps are in check and ive got a chiller for the reservoir. Ive actually just orderd another ph pe to make sure mine is good. Here are the pics ive snapped as the lights went off. Any suggestions would help. Im leaning toward a cal/mag issue if my ph is ok. ive got a jacks 16-4-17 at 1000ppm in the res at the moment as i just dealt with the first catastrophe of the res emptying into the room. Any help would be appreciated.

I do tend to religiously keep the ph near 5.8. Its says the uptake range is 6.2 and above. I might let it drift up there and see if it corrects the problem. Thanks all, I will post my results in a few weeks.

i was really hoping it was a ph issue. But ive had this happen in my previous grows and never found out what it was. I do RO water as well. Hopefully i can get it undert control.

With RO water I have always had to add back cal mag or I would see issues like your plants are exhibiting. 5ml of cal mag per gallon and you will be golden....

My recommendation is to check the fertilizers like other folks have said so far (cal-mag)...however, if this does not fix the problem after 3 days, it is time to do a formaldehyde test...I had a similar problem, it took a long time to figure out that the construction materials were off-gassing formaldehyde at extremely high rates. If you have a friend who does air test that would be your best bet, if not, you will need to purchase a formaldehyde meter. Good luck!

Hey, i know i'm in the minority, but i have had so much cal/mag over the years i'm almost a self anointed expert on it. you DO NOT have a deficiency. unless most of the leaves at the bottom of your plant are yellow it's not mag. and unless it started at the top fan leaves and worked it's way down it's not calcium but rather your ph is out of range or your EC is too high as the meter guys say or you're giving them more food than they can dispose of.

thats the only reason you should see those symptoms without first seeing either yellowing leaves or it starting at the top (newest growth) and working its way down as micro deficiencies occur.
