vert looks great when used in a big room with multiple bulbs. it seems to me, that way, you can have this kind of set up.. so say o= a bulb x=plant

x o x
o x o
x o x

then you could grow fairly big trees and have lots of light on different sides of the plants. I read through double d's vert grows on the farm and loved them. on the other hand I don't think having a single bulb with plants around it is the same. because effectively you just have light on one side of the plant, which is pretty much the same as horizontal anyway.

Make x= bulb o=plant and each plant get hit with 3 lights instead of 2

lol, I don't owe u this. But here it is. I have a back injury, that's why im not at work and have time to waste posting all this shit. On top of that im a week or two behind on my hobby. So I have a phenol hunting project going where I had to rebuild the room, and tp, label, and make notes on 100 seedlings, plus clones more labeling, etc... Then I have to finish last harvy work, and reload the donuts. This shit all takes precident over sharing with the community...

Oh yeah... your back... I know...

My back's always stopping me posting pictures of my 1.5gpw grows

Stupid backs.. who needs them. Worms never have this problem

When you say "all the way up" do you mean all the way up one foot of it? And something about church?

Not sure what just happened there

I'm like wtf is... *come back up for air*... wtf is that?

How do you even get your pictures that way round?

Learn the plant

Learn the plant

Short stalky indica leaning need to be super cropped and tied down to the vertical trellis or fence, light raised just above plant to encourage vertical growth. Sativas are easier to do this with, that starfighter f2 in the pic is the Tahoe alien phenol and did more the well in my set up and the weight is amazing, at least too me, im working in a 4x8 sealed, rcdwc, and co2. Lovely bcuz its so consistent as long as you take care of your environment and train the plants around the lights, no shadows, every inch of your plant should be getting maximum light from the bulb. when I flower, very little light gets thru the cage, so when I open the doors to the cab, during flower, the buds and big leaves literally block out the light, and remember there shouldn't anything n front or behind your plants, meaning when u tie them back on the cage, if theres any excess branches cut them out. Make each cola its own lane on the cage for airflow and to reduce the chances of bud rot towards the end. Holla at ur brethren if u wanna know anything else. Strains im running are OGR White Fire, Exotics StarFighter F2, and some sweet smelling blueberry mix, smells ridiculously like blueberry muffins out oven with hint of kushiness..fucking outstanding ladies and gent

Ok.. I'm only joking btw.. but that picture... looks like you've got some nice plants in there bro, but they're not right up the trellis ya know... With respect, doesn't look like a gpw grow to me fella.

For me, this is strictly about the numbers... blah blah.. I keep saying it.. but it is. If it's your style, or you just dig it more whatever... do it.. but when the word efficiency and theories like "no reflected light"... "plants get light 360 degrees"... I have to ask the question; what numbers are you doing to support that claim?

Yes, theoretically it can be done.. but I know myself.. it's not easy in practice to get that whole area covered. With more plants and stands for them, IOW vertical pot space, yes, much easier. But without, I'm not seeing too many people pulling it off. In fact even with, I'm still not seeing it. I'm seeing people stack pots and still not do it, and stacking pots is half the battle.

Any pictures of the internal circle with the lights off?

EDIT: Wait a minute. 25 per 600? That's 41 zips per 1k. Did you say you were hitting "25-35 per 1k"?

I also find it quite hilarious that you go check out my thread, and come back shit talking, but still have yet to post a picture of your own. Not that I would believe it was yours or the numbers you claim anyways. Without a thread to back it up you could be shooting shots of anyones rooms and claiming any #'s you like.

EXAMPLE: OMG HORIZONTAL GROWS SUCK GUYS! LOOK AT HOW EASY I HIT 2GPW VERT!
