Only good weed will make good hash... Good weed never gets made into hash unless bugs, mold, or some other problem hits before harvest.

People with shit weed get stuck with it unless they can dump it for nothing. People stuck with weed will become desperate and do anything they can to move it, that includes wasting money to process shit weed into shit hash.

Most people in the pot growing world do not seem to think about being cost efficient. They seem to think if you just have pot the money will flow.

Being a poor pot grower who only grows for family and close friends I have had to adapt and learn to grow for pennies

It is interesting to watch people bury themselves rather than just cut their losses and work for a better future... It's as if they don't think about tomorrow, it's all about today.

I've been seeing my homies top notch OG kush light dep going for 2 wholesale and 22-23 a unit no joke. but its some of the best I've seen i almost thought it was indoor….their only under 2 if your taking the whole crop.

other random light dep going for 16-18 mostly, people aren't letting them off cheap. haven't seen any dep below 16 this year.

i found 4 old pounds of outdoor in my closet last week, stale brown been in a vacseal bag for 8+ months probably. I'm wondering what i could charge for them i wanted to just get rid of them before the fresh stuff starts coming down. neighbors and friends are already chopping their early girls but those usually dont affect the market too much.

I'm hearing 12-14 for good, well stored last years and have seen 16-19 for fire dep. Apparently people are letting dep go for as low as 13 in other parts of CA like Fresno.

just saw a 20piece of old blue dream with a lovely brownish-grey color go for 15 a piece and the guy was eating it up.... early girl purple kush stuff harvested next week will go for 16 in packs... got 18 for some OK looking light dep... is this year going to be different because of the drought/outdoor bans/recreational cannabis in WA and CO? Yes, I think so.. a shorter flood period maybe.

Do brown stale packs still produce a good smell/taste? Or have the terpenes degraded or evaporated by the time it goes brown?

Brown/black flavorless ugly wax doesn't sell for much (or at all) either, in my experience.

I waxed some year and a half old material that I got back after I won my case and it came out fine. I actually will never blow anything ever again by the way. closed loop or otherwise. a building blew up that i was in and fuck that lol luckily no one died. I mean that was insane to feel the whole building shake and then the aftermath. it wasnt me doing it, but damn it just gives me the creeps now to even think of it.

what about nitrogen sealing? i've heard of a few OD guys sealing their crops and blasting it slowly during off season. no oxygen no oxidizing = bright yellow good oil after months of storage. i think they sell big storage totes you can nitrogen seal (they have one at my hydroshop that could fit 40-60 packs) and i've seen small foodsaver type ones too.

If the weed stored in the closet is crisp dry the sieve will taste great.
This is especially true for farmers grade dry sieve. The product will burn smooth and taste mild.

I saw OD prices drop I bit last year. 11-13 was more common than 14-16 un like the past few years. I'm happy to be getting 15. Tight trim and strong smell keep my quality above most who grow more than a box or two. Greenhouse kushs will fetch similar numbers to the dep. Keeping quality higher than the next guy is what it's about.

What are you guys getting for sugar leaf? I've been getting 95 on the regular for 20 to 30 at a time. Occasionally I'll trade for half of the oil but that isn't worth it for most extraction "artists". I get about 420/z for shatter.

Saw some PM filled indoor trim go for 150 the other day. Lots of people trying to make a perfect ejuice around here.

$500 for an oz. of 81% GSC shatter. 400-450 for darker concentrates.

Units in my area on the east coast have been steadily dropping.. I was still seeing 4k for nice ins up until a few months ago. Currently @ 29-30 for nice od packs n 35-36 for in units.
Seems like the even here 2.000 miles or so from norcal the general pop.. Still is used to and wont take anything unless its frosty, dense and has at least some nose.
Peoples standards r rising..
