BB if you have a 2x4 tray or something of the like and a few air stones you can take the whole rockwool cube/growstone and planter combo and to a little shallow water culture set up until the roots grow out a bit and you can put them in the UC.

Right on Unc and I actually have a few of those trays laying around...I will need to get that setup...sounds easy enough...

I see already too that I should add a few more buckets to fill the empty space...but this is the learning Im doing before I go full boat on this under current stuff...it is a lot less work for me than coco and plus it will help save my back

This under current getup makes me feel like Im some kind of mad scientist or something mixing up a cocktail of nutes and teas

About how much veg time do you think to get about a pound a plant? I have 4k above them but for now the heat and cost are holding me back from turning them on...I really wish I set the floor plan different on this thing...definitely next go I am moving the res to the other side of the room...

I have seen people really rake it in with these getups but Im sure it comes with the experience...I am trying to figure out how Im going to do maintenance once this fills in...I may have another nightmare on my hands

Now...I brewed up a little cali growing voodoo for the under current...added a 1ppm concoction of tria to the res...we will see how things go...hopefully not another setback but I like the science

The first one worked, the second one worked.. the outside ones worked.... you moved and those worked... Last time I came out there what? a few years back... that set-up was working.... This current one is working... and you know what... in christmas when you change it again for who knows what reason.. im sure it will work too...lmao... Truth be told... i have not seen your plants change much in size weight color or flavor ... I t was good then as its good now? Do you remember when it use to be simple? ..... I just love growing this beautiful plant...I still have a few more tests to explore but after that it is mainly going to be with the hormones and steroids

Have you made plans for your brewer? I have a few of the more difficult parts to get a hold of for you...I should head up your way soon...how fast are you trying to get your brewer done?

Now for a little report on the cali growers voodoo I put in the rez yesterday...caused pH to drop to 5.1...thats making me sweat a little bit I am also noticing a little heat stress in the leafs...I dampened the rockwool cubes with r/o water due to them being bone dry to see if that is the trouble with the heat stress...I may have to raise the water level again to allow the rockwool cubes to absorb more water

Really depends on how much growth your getting... some people do things to slow the growth like incorrect ph, high water temps, excessive heat causing problems with plant transpiration, not enough light, too much nuts is a big one.... For the 1P per plant the veg should be 4-6 weeks. You... I would say 4 weeks, since a lot of these problems don't apply to you but if you have the time... like plants need to finish harvest before the vegged plants move over... then by all means veg on. The ones you just picked up will do 1.25 with a 5 week veg all things considered.

So you dont want this SMW? fyi I can always have brotha man bring it to ya... you just have to pick it up from him .. as he gets tired and starts crying

to get a 1 lb plant you need something aside from t5's for veg,gonna need a 1000w halide to get them up to size properly...

in 4-6 weeks these things maybe trees lol The growth I am starting to see is explosive...I supercropped one yesterday because it is faster than the others...its going to take some time to learn how to tame this beast
also I can see already by adding a few more buckets I could fill in the space faster but with more plants...i just need a bigger water storage tank

I wont be able to run the ones you just passed me that quickly...they were just clones and the GDP is the only 1 ready for cuts...the Candyland has been topped and starting to get where I can get a few clones but all that is time...I need to make sure to have a Christmas harvest

Oh for sure...would love to have the SMW...LOL brotha man is busy trying to make babies I think...either way I need to get these parts for the brewer and some of these hormones out your way...we will chat with brotha man and see what he wants to do or if I can get out there first

I didn't even think about timing my harvest for Christmas. I would just be happy if I could harvest at all, but it seems that if I just may have cured bud if all goes well. whew!

tangent: I went to Vancouver BC to go to Blunt Bros and get drunk when I was underage years ago and we didn't want to try and take pot over the border and hoped to find some when we arrived. as soon as we pulled up within a block of Blunt Bros, we were greeted by the Pot Santa Claus who saw our American plates and had a giant black garbage bag FILLED with dime bags slung over his shoulder. needless to say, the pot sucked but it was an experience to smoke in public in a café. wish I could go back but you can't with certain convictions like possession of marijuana charges :/

hth Shock and swim is not new.... its what they use for pools and spas your basic chlorine Im sure we have all heard of people using bleach in their system to keep it clean... only problem is bleach contains lye Yuck!!!! and your plants really!!! hate that. So the hydroponic companies have created things like Rez Clear, and the clone X brand.. Clear Rez @ 35$ to 40$ a pint or 8oz rather.. cant remember how much a pint is...lol ... And no doubt the shit works... but just using the maintenance schedule on that stuff would cost a grower a few racks... Im talking bank!!! (hth shock and swim is the same stuff in a concentrate.... comes in 1lb and 5lb bags... and 1 to 5 grams per gallon will make a better concentration then your grow store brand.. i don't care what brand it is.. yep even UCroots... then you can just store the gallon you just made in a cool place... POW!!!! cost 5-7 bucks for the hth shock and swim for 1lb and will last you a life time... or you can just buy UC roots and crap your money down the toilet... Now i'm surprised you being the mad scientist didn't know this - but you can't use bennys as they will be destroyed along with algae fungus mold and any bacteria in your system.... Hence no root rot.... alternative for non sterile organic living water is to fight with zymes and bennys.. like the great white and orca .. or your mycos per our last conversation... Just caution is needed as most will add forms of starch or sugers which will feed the problem... so X all that sweetener crap if having problems... cheers

basically its forming chlorine...so its cleaning/oxidizing just like hydrogen peroxide, uc roots...there should be no reason why this wouldnt work...do you have the doses down...concentration levels etc? I thought you didnt like to play mad scientist stuff lol you have me wanting to test this out but for now I'll stick to my bennies
