here's a picture and a video I took of them @ 200x

they cause the dudding and open the plant up to other infections. they concentrate at the base of the plants stem.

Here is the thread HL45 started about the phenomenon, Storm figured it out on page 73

anyone who picked up GG#4 cuts at the LA Cup has them. no simple solution, like obsoul33t said "I wish I had broad mites."

Damn! That sucks!

Does Chitosan promote fungi that eats them?

Do people know if it started with Josey or Sunset or what?

Trainwreck going for the tree tops...

there has probably been sporadic cases for years but i think it really started to proliferate after someone from the SDF crew gave Sour Dub to PO Genetics. sunset got them from that circle too and spread em far and wide at the LA cup. i think PO got sour dub around 06/07?

wow that is some scary stuff. i know people who got those cuts from LA too i need to tell them this asap. in the meantime i have a bunch of 15-30gallon plants in my backyard this year, nothing compared to you big timers. but I'm having some issues hoping the experts could give me a 2nd opinion. this is ONLY happening on my cookie plants, my OG kush, sour diesel, and several other strains are all unaffected. it also happened right after i sprayed some stuff called SAFER organic fungicide for powder mildew. i dont know if its related to the spray, which left a bunch of residue btw. anyway i looked alot online and I'm guessing is something related to Potassium and Magnesium after consulting the deficiency chart showing pics of fan leaves.

Ultratrimmer looked like its savage on the flowers.....

Would you harvest your tomatoes or melons and then beat them up? I don't know.
Looks like it might be rough on dried flowers but is it? That's what I was wondering from the start. Glad my friend is willing to spend the money, test it out and for sure I'll provide some honest feedback. We'll see and until he reports back it's all conjecture.

What do tomatoes or melons have to do with canna? It's like apples and lavender or something. Poor comparison.

Maaaan, come on, stop with that. It's one thing to say "I don't think that's an accurate analogy", but there's nothing constructive in calling the comparison "lame". It's difficult enough to get someone to listen to your opinion when you're disagreeing with them. No need to make it harder by choosing words that will make them even less likely to listen.

I just don't even see why you'd need to try it after seeing the video of the shaking table and the guy smashing the buds and molesting them ... If one of my trimmers handled my stuff that way I'd cut them immediately

Mendo ,

A week before chop is when I quit spraying but calcium foliars is pretty broad

Completely agree. Even if you're shipping off at a low price no need to fuck with the herb like that.

Imo...and anyone can disagree...mineral nutrition can beat any diease/insect. The cause of all this shit is over use of chemicals. Anyone following that path is fucked imo. We all make our own decisions though...and we all suffer the consequences.

Damn I feel like a fat kid at summer camp after all that reading playing catch up.
I definitely want to check out the aea products and wil be starting testing this next year for sure!
Also I thought the trim pal was badass last year turned six months into three weeks!!! Of course it is strain relevant from what I've seen. More compact and dense the better if it's more leafy the not so better. Choose the right strains and it's a winner in my book.

Damn I just found nematodes in some cuts that didn't root about two weeks ago, all in the lower stem. I made a video as well. It occurred in 2 of 4 WC d.o.g cuts I had taken. They were certainly too wet , the tray the plugs was in had standing water. I examined a drop of that water, teaming with todes and anaerobes. I don't have any sick plants or deficiencies in adults in veg or flower.... I do have gg4 that is pre 2013 htcup and healthy as a mofo...
