Hi newtothiscoco, some of my girls have slight to moderate issues but currently everyone is on the same diet. I tried to feed specifics early on but just kept making mistakes because I have sooo many strains going right now. Once I find a few keepers I can get things back to normal and running large batches of the same strain making it easier for specific diests

Okay, wanna make a quick report on the diy vortex style brewer I made...I couldn't of asked for anything more...no deadspots...water and airflow maintain maximum flow...the tea produced is absolutely perfect :yes

Hey, what lighting do you have on when taking them pictures? I just spent $350 on a new camera and need some advice so I can get better pics up. I know the HPS lights suck for pictures.......my MH sometimes I get decent pics.....flouros maybe?

thanks but I have to give a lot of credit to the camera, I use the flash on the camera for lighting and some times a flashlight lol what I do is play with the white balance setting to help get rid of the orange from the hps lights. This really seems to brighten up the pics...I must say not every pic comes out looking great though...I take a bunch and then cherry pick for the better pics I'll say too when I got the new cam...first thing I said was "this things a piece of crap"...its just like a new cell phone...you'll get the hang of it soon...just check out your settings, white balance and such...your manual may have some pointers for you too when photographing certain settings

LoL.. thanks for coming over and not bringing me anything sir.... Re Great White/ Orca .. I only say best stuff on earth cuz the Orca is liquid and justs flows... I looked up the MycoGrow 1lb powder .... just dont like any little grains left behind to clog things up .. thats just me also its like AN Voodoo J when it comes to killing root rot - sorry bro.. the Sh*t just works. Hope those new babies work out for you.. they are beast!!! Next time ya come over call first...lol - jerk..... I will get you some Orca so you can uc/dwc with bucket filling strong white roots - without fear of root rot .... just keep them rez temps at 65... Tell BabyBayBHuy I said he can check it out next time

I take my hps glasses and put them in front of the camera lens and my pics come out great under HID lights. works well for MH too.

Cheffz is in da house I thought that was you...good to see you posting...well 2 posts is a good start lol now the products you mention orca/voodoo juice, good stuff...works great...but goes anerobic and expensive so I like fresh microbes...but thats me 
1lb of Mycogrow can make a shite ton of tea with the addition of ancient forest and good old blackstrap molasses root rot doesnt have a chance on top of that I am absolutely positive I have more bene's than Orca/voodoo juice minus the expense...One more positive note to add is you dont need a chiller 
Now if I absolutely must have white roots...I would run a surfactant plus a chiller...which is my next run to verify my theory...but thats just me hahaha...how much orca/voodoo juice are you using per gallon and how often do you need to use it...buy it? And plus you know me...I change my grow style like my underwear lol

sorry I just dropped in on you but I needed to get something with color for the holidays and you never really replied to my text if I should come by and then I hit you up when I was out there so it just worked out that way...so who is the heavier hitter and i'm sure the GDP is purple but what about Candyland? But anyway dont trip...I gotta go back out that way to get some other cuts plus I want those Purple Dream beans...so you going to start posting your grow?

I got confused cause its Tangie x Chocolope...and being baked=mistake 
but yeah its my first go with her and last only cause shes feminized but the aromas this gal puts out is cantaloupe, tangerine, chocolate...not sure if I can recommend DNA Genetics from 1 bean but from what I see from this gal I am more than willing to give them a try but regular seeds...I'm not into feminized
The HPS glasses are a good idea but unfortunately I dont have any...I dont mind finding the color setting with the camera...just annoying sometimes with the space.

I use the Orca @30$ for 16oz @ 1mil/gal for my veg and up to week 4 bloom. So it last me a good few But I will pick up the Myco and give it a run... off your word! Haha Yes only 2 post... well 3 now. As you can see I been a member here for a few years ... but I just read my ass off - in between the few laughs from the bicker. No I wont yet post a grow, no need to show off But please trust this.. I will be here to inspect yours, and give you a hard time when needed (needed by me) You have done stellar work my friend, I will be watching. Re the babies.. the beast of the bunch is the Strawberry Mind Warp, then Agent Orange and Candyland - they grow about the same. Let me know what you do to them

Tleaf, I just have this weird thing about feminized beans and prefer to run regular beans...its not that they cant be good...its really some kind of weird thought that I have that says thats not right kind of a deal so that is why
Come on Cheffz, its not about showing off but rather your experience plus you helped me figure out why I was in a slump...cause I wasnt showing my grow...I have my fire again
I would go through that Orca lightning fast and would be a big expense for me...I know its good shite but I can make my own microbes with just a few cheap ingredients...Teaming with microbes is a great read of a tiny world that goes on that our eyes cant see if your interested
I have to say you giving me a hard time keeps me on my toes so its a good thing...so now your not going to ride my ars lol

I got the GDP Candyland and Agent Orange so from those who should I run for Christmas $$$...Im looking for weight frost and color
Now for the hydro system...I realize it has gone slowly however I did do a test that killed my roots early on but fortunately the rockwool cube was an actual life saver.
The test I did was to add a surfactant...Physan 20 is a surfactant plus kills like everything so I added 1ml per 10 gal...big mistake...the roots were fried within a few minutes of coming in contact with the surfactant...so the rockwool saved the roots from getting fried any further so I immediately drained the system with fresh water...and began using my tea from this awesome diy vortex tea brewer that makes perfect tea by the way
My roots are now dropping down again and things are getting moving again

how often are you giving them tea Huey? Do you dilute it at all? I use a simple EWC and molasses recipe for my tea, but have been slacking.
Damn Huey ......theres alot goin on up in here !!! do you always run so many strains at once or is this a seed run ? sorry didn't read the whole thread .
i hope you get a good pheno in that HB 818 , i got 2 & they both sucked !!! nice plant , loved the growth & structure , but the smoke was garbage .

Lotus early on I dont add much tea...but since I had the root damage from adding the surfactant, I added 2gal of tea to 60gal of my nute solution...and since I like to live dangerously in my Austin Powers voice lol...I left the dead roots from the surfactant experiment...the smart or right thing to do would have been to remove the dead roots but I like to play mad scientist stuff and see if it becomes a problem down the road...this way I get a better idea how effective a simple tea can be
I add tea to the res every other day right now...I think I read microbes are going to last maybe 2 days
I would have to go look it up...I dont dilute the tea...what I do is use the tea as a top off...I dont really know exactly the amount of tea one would need to use as everyones situation is different but I only use the tea to ward of root rot...I add chemical nutes to feed the plants I can go on and on when Im medicated lol

Honestly I know better to run this many strains, I have a son that just got legal and he doesnt like to listen to his old man...his seed shipment was seized which included Gage Greens limited OakTree and he just flipped out throwing down all kinds of beans...I let him do it to not burst his bubble about growing and also to let him learn what happens when running a lot of genetics at the same time...I am taking a hit for it but his lesson has been learned.

The strawberry cough...I love the sativa leaning pheno...looks like the buds have white flames emitting from the bud tops...just love that look...sweet tart aromas coming from her but once again this is my first run with her so fingers crossed
