Thanks for stopping by GA! I love cfls my first 2 based grows were 100% cfls...32 23w bulbs....ty Lowe's. Was getting a zip a week which I thought was pretty good going in blind. I will still veg with it as it's setup by banks. Heat was very manageable with a few clip on fans and a 10" desk fan... doing the mh to really satisfy my own curiosity..had it for a year and never used it.

My Rockstar + ConKushion grow!

Seeing as I have roughly 3-4 months before I can start burning these strains down....i started thinking and came up with "Fuck I'm impatient, where can I get a time machine?" So I ask....where can I get said time machine? will even take a photonic apparatus that will speed up the growing process... 
Day 26:
It looks like I have 2 different of each plant bY my own limited experience..same variation to both...one rsk has sharp serrated leaves with deeper ridges in the fans....the other is more rounded at the leaf edges and shallow ridges on leaves....same thing with the conclusion...personally won't mind having variation to the same types....let's hope they are girls....pics when I get home

Popped a few more beans over the last few weeks, 1 Purple Painkiller, 1 West Coast Sour Diesel and a White Widow x Big Bud.
After some studying of the leaves it looks like the Rockstars will be of the same pheno (as it looks to my untrained eye) looks like there will be 2 different conKushion tho....again fine with me. Lets hope my random seed pops give me some extra moms to keep around for a bit! They are all potted in Happy Frog so I probably shouldn't have to feed till a few weeks after their next repot....time is flying but certainly not quick enough. C'mon new years eve! (hopefully will have several kinds to stick in the old Cheech and Chong bamboo I've been saving!

Rearranged the tent a bit after discovering MH bulbs certainly burn a lot hotter than HPS, so for now I have the 600w ballast turned to 50% (300w) if the heat doesn't get any better I will switch back to CFL's which I like anyways, but the node spacing is certainly a little tighter with the MH.
Watered them with 6.4ph bubbled tap water w/ a few drops of CalMag and H202.....a few that were started a week later but have been strictly in Happy Frog have outgrown the ones from an old MG mix I had... Soil sure is a PITA and messy....I've also discovered that after a little rearranging I have room enough for 2 more 3x3 600w tents....but I don't want to get ahead of myself and only in this spot another year or so.....next place will certainly be rooms and not tents..but it is what it is no?.....I am still pretty sure I have 2 different ConK phenos as the leaves are really starting to seperate themselves apart...possibly 2 different RSK still too but I could just be high and seeing leaves longer and thinner than the other shorter broader leaves.
the single PPK is starting to spread out nicely, still a midget but growing and branching fine...
the single WCSD (Runt of the tent on the left) hasn't really grown yet, I'm afraid it may cull itself out....tho its still pretty early to say, another week or 2 will let me know..
I'm hoping my next order of beans comes thru for my birthday friday, that way I can have a nice gift to rip open friday (22nd)
I have noticed now that I'm old I don't exactly get cool gifts....clothes, gift cards, tools are usually the extent....where's the fun there? A Drum set sounds like fun....hmm.....damn 3 seconds of just thinking of it and the wife already yelled out "NO!" sheesh

I Always let my plant grow naturally, so I can see there true structure. I do a very small amount of trimming around the lower stalk area just to get watering and soil amendment completed without pulling every thing out.
If you have some height restriction's or a big stretch topping is an option, I train using lattes. That being said Med-Man can give you the most solid Strain related advise.

Well the wild growth i thought was taking place on my largest RSK was an obvious hallucination as it is starting to climb and node up nicely. That particular seedling REEKS like burnt rubber and a musty skunk undertone without needing to be handled...
I even learned that I need to pH up my water to around 7.4 to allow the runoff to read in the mid 6's...all the plants are liking their new pots and soil so far....man where is that fast forward button...New Years Eve will be S T E L L A R!

Day 35 (already)
They are really starting to sprout slightly, the WCSD is still a runt but its starting to grow, we'll see what happens there... the Rockstars are all starting to look very uniform, 3 of them tower over the others, 1 in particular is drinking water at a pretty quick rate and is getting pretty stout and firm....been doing a little massaging of the branches and main stalk and they take the beating pretty well, they are standing back upright again in just a few hours.. the 3 conkushion are growing pretty well, still looks like 2 phenos to me, but I'm still a rookie so who knows. The PPK is small in stature but growing well, I noticed what looked like brown spots on a few of the leaves, they sort of look like burns so I'm guessing the MH did it, magnifying thru the water droplets like a lens....speculation and theory but does make sense... didn't get my special mail yet but hopefully comes this week with no attached letters or tape...

The WCSD is the tiny one on the left, showing new growth so will leave it alone for the time being...
The PPK also on the left side is small in stature but stacking new growth up.
The back 3 on the right are the ConKushions, growing well and starting to spread out..
The front 5 are the Rockstar, a few of which tower over their brethern, all growing well enough.
Fed with a few drops of H202, CaliMag and GH Veg nutes, (432ppm) dont want to burn them up. next 2 feedings will be pH'd water, unless showing a deficiency of some type...
Any suggestions on when a good time to take clones will be? I'm sure they are a lil new still, but as I sit here and crack open my last jar....(only a qt. size) I'm thinking i need to get these sexed asap, they are roughly a month from seed start i'm guessing I have atleast a month before they start showing preflowers....(maybe, some say the Rockstar won't sex till flower) and being a smalltime hobby grower I don't like wasting space/grow medium if I don't have to...
