Well they are only 9 days old I haven't even added nutes yet. They are from seedling. I checked today when I got home and it was around 5.7, was 5.9 when I left so I think it's steading itself out. I will check again tomorrow :)

And as stated before I run a dwc not a rdwc :)

They are growing awesome, there about 3" tall bright green first two leaves pretty big, roots look nice and white fairly long. Will post pics tomorrow!

Here is an update :) 13 days after planting them into rockwool cubes.

Any one use advanced nutes? I switched from GH gonna give them a try!

I don't run a separate Rez tank. Running a dwc system, seems I got the temp under control. Just need to figure out ph
even with a dwc system if you have the air pumps in a small fridge it will help with the water temps in the buckets.

Using RO water, bubbling it for and hour, the nutes, wait 6 hours then adjust ph will help with ph fluctuations. But remember ph will go up as water and nutes are used. You need to monitor water levels as well as ppms.

Here is an update:)

The roots are out of control! Lol very clean and growing good! Gonna change nutes tonight, I'm seeing some brown spots think there's a nute deficiency. I started at quarter strength think there hungry for more. They are 3 weeks old in this picture!!

I run with hydroton as my medium. And thànks everyone :) tips always appreciated!!

How often do you guys change your water? And should I be using quarter strength nutes at this time in there growth? I have about 8 things I use,

Bud candy
Piranha
Voodoo juice
Tarantula
Sensi grow A&B

i've had a dwc system running for over a month without changing the water at all, just topping it off and adjusting pH. no problems. been running maxibloom at 1 tsp/gal since clones rooted.

Ahh yea that sounds about right. Im running 1/4 strength right now. There 3 weeks old as of yesterday from germination.

I changed my water yesterday. My water runs warmer than its supposed to I think, been hot here recently so i trying to keep it really clean from bacteria!

Here is an update on the babies, Ph has been a good 5.9, 1/4 nutes, running 18/6 lights.

I topped 2 nights ago and as can see one of them isnt happy :( not sure if taking on to much water? The other one seems to have recovered nicely.

Here's an update:) plants 37 days from planting seed in rockwool. It's 11" tall seems quite bushy. Gonna scrog it at end of week. Roots look good, nice and big green leaves:)

Got a quick question though! How often should I be adding nutes? I don't have a ppm meter. And should I change my res when I do it? ( 7 gallon rubbermaid )

Mix up a new batch of nutrients every week. Replace the old nutrient solution with the fresh one.

Follow your manufacturers suggestion until you get a meter. If their suggestions are bad, and their feed levels wrong, then you'll see that quick and know that you shouldn't support them anymore.

Good nutrients come with good feed programs, but every strain needs something a little different. Cannabis is a broad range feeder, so as long as you're within the healthy limits the plants should be fine with the recommended dosage. If anything, you'll need less and not more than what they say.

Between reservoir changes during the week you want to add in fresh water and pH adjust the solution to the correct levels (I like to float from about 5.5pH up to about 6.1pH during the day but you can be more precise if you have the time.

That UltraSun is a really low quality bulb. You're going to see better results running something a little better designed for your ballast. I've been getting good harvests from Digilux lamps but they burn out kind of often... Ushio's are a good choice as well.

I'm going to also recommend a 6" phresh filter. Better to be safe than sorry.

I run ushio 600s for the hobby at home and they are great, best 600 bulbs on the market in my opinion. 55 bucks off amazon. For the 1000s at location 2 it's eye hortilux all the way.

If you're having ph issues with that type of fluctuation in 8 hours something is seriously off. Either your temps are too high, your nutrient mix is off, someone is pissing in your reservoir when you aren't home, or you have some sort of living organisms in your res.
What brand nutes are you running? You need to get a stable ph quick, fluctuating ph can devastate a plant.

My ph values don't fluctuate any more...every day I check it I get a 6.0 and I calibrate meter every day. Everything is a okay in that department! Plant is very healthy now from what I can se

For some reason the 2nd and third pages didn't load and I thought that was the end of the thread. Looks like you got it under control. Good luck and stay safe.

Heres an update! Got a ppm meter today.

Adding nutes I found the ppm is 1200. Is that to high for plants stage in life? Ill check it tomorrow see how it reacts.

I started to LST it also ( probably a little late ) but shes reacting good to it :)
