Better selection = Better PDPs

I just found them and will give them the full set up ( scuff,soak,paper towel ) One looked real nice and the other... well we will see , just going to keep my fingers crossed.

I know mine is just like one of my kids to me, and when his time is up it will be hard to deal with.

I did see that you put down some new seeds to start over. I thought you were saying you had more from the first run.

If one of them ends up male ( the ones I just put down ) I will jerk him off good. Are you still going to want some of his man seed? LOL

I dropped 6 reg purps that are BX2 of my old #1 pheno purps female.
Also dropped 2 GDP fems from the hills of gold.
And also 2 of Docs GDPs Regs.

Met up with a few folks over the weekend and got seeds of Grape Ape X PCK and GDP X PCK. Looking forward to seeing what they can do.

The Grape Ape X tahoe is a female and she is starting to flower. Hope she turns out grape with the potency of the tahoe. No purple coloring or grape smells as of yet. Not really holding my breath for either of these traits in this one. But am hopeful the potency will be where she shines.

Anyone else seen or hear that GDP is a slow vegger and needs to be in veg longer because of the slow growth?(Lack of vigor) Think I heard or read something about it. (maybe just the clone?)

Have a few beans from an accident halo2 X Silver 99. (C99XSuper silver haze)
Not sure I can test them as soon as I want as have a few ahead of them. Got hit in veg under 24hrs light and that halo cut I have was stuck in preflower. The seeds look good and had a bay 11 cut get hit also with the same Silver 99 male. Bonus. The female Silver 99 is potent and smells like the jack herer garlic and onion pheno I have but the smell improves after curing to maybe pineapple skunk..

Yes sir GDP is a slow vegging plant for whatever reason, she also likes warmer weather she really lags when it's cold. That's why I start my GDP earlier, but once GDP reaches a little bigger size it really takes off.

Here's some pics of GDP from last year tested. 24.1% yielded 3 pounds. And out of that 3# I found only 2 seeds. I'm will load a pic of this years GDP later the thing isn't letting me do it but this years is litterally twice the size of last seasons GDP and this years just started flowering.

I had that RD grape ape for awhile and hot damn is it a slow vegger. Slowest vegging plant I've ever grown I must say.

That Grape ape's so damn slow It'll have to be amazing to be worth a shit... still aint even 14" tall... Might not be worth the space she takes up... we'll see.

This is the pheno that I'm not feelin... It isn't frosting up much, and stem rubs dont have a particularly strong smell... but I put 2 of its clones in flower and topped the 3rd, gonna give her her fair due...

Is the MCD showing traits from the NYCD,blueberry or the purps? Can you see any traits to help identify if she leans towards a specific pheno? Did the NYCD dominate the cross from what you see or something else? Still might be to early to say. Leaves look big and indica dominant.

Thanks for all the feed back on GDP vigor. Great replies from the minions. Also ended up with some strawberry diesel x silver 99 seeds. (free testers?) Here is what the sister female Silver 99 looks like.

100% organic dry sift and pressed.
Smokes in a bowl, stays lit, tastes delicious, and at nearly 44% THC is plenty stoney.

Gonna spend my time with a couple friends then drive back home.
Should be a good time
