Kool Bloom dry which is a different monkey than Kool Bloom liquid The Kool Bloom blasts they do with 6/9 is the dry.
I think my well water gives me different ec at different times of the day, it's direct feed from a glacial river
So the ec varies on how much melting is going on in summer usually .2 + or - so:6ml micro
9ml bloom
1.5ml silica
1ml Drip Clean
gives me between 1.15-1.25 ec, depending on the water.
With 1/4tsp/gal of Kool Bloom added it still reads about 1.25 ec so it doesn't raise it much. These strains I have now take 10 weeks so the plan is to run the KB through week 7. Then maybe 6/12 for a week then 12 only until 4 day flush. Who knows though, I have to do what the plants say, I didn't plan on adding KB to the 6/9 when I started them
Blumats are a self watering drip system where the plant tells the dripper when it wants water/feed. No runoff, they pay for themselves in nute savings, not to mention all I have to do is peek in the room and say "nothing to do in there again, sweet!

You know how your mom taught you not to do when you were a kid because it lets out the cool air and wastes electricity?
Well, the kid didn't get it and was running an exhaust fan while his AC was blasting away in a tiny room.
Well, he never got through to the guy and the guy went out and bought a bigger AC to handle the problem instead of closing up the room.
Needless to say the bigger ac didn't work.
He had to literally fight the same guy for 2 years on the difference in cost of protek silica $25 for the same amount of silica as $500 worth of AN.
Too bad he isn't a miracle worker

just bought some koolbloom powder...holy fuck 2-45-28 gonja you said you started this in week 4? isnt that a little too soon? would it be smarter to use MB for week 2-5 then switch to KB? are you feeding the KB with every watering and how often do you water? what size pots? any perlite?

Oh hells yes I run Hydroplex. I think 5 or 6 times. Great stuff!
I run it at 2ml/gallon for at least 25 ppm of P and K added to my solution. Just a little bit makes a big difference.
With ~7ml/gal of CANNA A+B as my base that's a start of about 35ppm of P. Another 25ppm will almost double the concentration to 60ppm. This is used from day 1 of 12/12 to about day 32 to 35 (I also add another source of Potassium, Uncle John's Blend, but not too much in coco at 5-10ml/gal).
Thats about the time (strain dependent) that I replace the CANNA base with Botanicare's CNS17 Ripe 1-5-4. This will turn the ratios into a more PK dominant solution without having to use more of the supplement than is necessary. The Ripe is super cheap too and my experience is that the combination of them during that peak of flowering helps develop some serious weight.
1 quart will make me about 473 gallons of solution. The MSRP on it is $36.75 but it can be found online for as little as $21.50. That's just $0.045 per gallon at my recommended rate on the low end and $0.078 on the high end.

Im using the head 6/9...so around day 35 u drop your base totally and just run the cns17? I have liquid kb and hydroplex...also some powder kb...
I am a little more fluid in my feedings, nothing happens on a schedule, or exactly the same way from grow to grow yet. Usually I start by running the two in tandem for a few days.
I do not feed my plants for about 2 weeks prior to harvest. If harvest is around day 60, then I stop feeding on day 46. And for about a week leading up to that point I'm feeding lower than peak. So I need to be peaking my feed schedule around days 30 to 40. It is around that period of time when the Ripe steps in and "slowly" takes over as the primary nutrient source and PK dominant ratio.

lol its all by what your plants tell you then...i searched above and beyond to get ahold of my breeders. finally did, and glad i did

So...i woke up this morning, yawned, smoked a big fat bong to the head, and walked in my room like any other day. Today is different though...ive been thrown a curveball lol. My little ladies are in 18/6 light cycle and have been from seed, no change, no power outages...nothing. Well, most of them have white hairs popping out all over the place...im confused??? Never seen that before while in veg. Also, some of them that i topped are growing 3 new shoots instead of 2...not complaining about that lol...heres a few pics...
