Jhhnn just claimed that.

Hardly.

The difference is California has a system of registration for residential growers. Colorado does not.
We do for med patients & caregivers. Anonymous personal growing has been legal only since passage of A64. Jan 1, 2013. It doesn't matter anyway, given that CA growers aren't monitored at all. It's just part of what's become a total scam, by your own admission.

In Colorado? Not from what I hear/see. It's all oils and extracts made from mid-grade in Colorado.
We're all well aware that you only see & hear what you want.

I wouldn't smoke it. I hear it's all garbage from people I know in Colorado.
You're probably smokin' Labrador.

It does when they actually purchased pounds of it from them under the table.gl
In your dreams, maybe, or in a story from a guy who knew you'd swallow it. If your supposed Colorado friends talk shit the way you do, they'd have trouble scoring an eighth in Civic Center Park.

I'm not in Colorado, & the weed I have gotten from there was just as good as the weed from California.

I wouldn't smoke it. I hear it's all garbage from people I know in Colorado.

I wouldn't offer you any. not a problem.

"our MMJ system is "leaky" and the one in California even more so." not everyones pot is going to pass muster with the medical dispensaries, esp if there is a glut of the same variety being harvested at the same time. those folks are NOT going to shrug their shoulders & go "well, fuck it. i'll chuck it in the river & start over..." not even the police expect THAT to happen. good weed will always be in demand SOMEPLACE. you might get an even better price if you sell in an unfriendly place than you would back home. comes back to "taking chances" again. what I like is the fact that, if a LOT of people are growing their 6 plants, everyones house will smell a bit like pot & LEO will probably have trouble zeroing in on the one guy going "large"... legality even helps the remaining "criminals"...:ying:

That's why I've said that successful retail growers in CO will need deep pockets & cash reserves. It's not like they can make all that RFID'd pot just disappear. Once they buy in on the front end, they're pretty much locked in on the back end, too. They have to compete with 100% legit growers who do have the means to weather a storm. If your numbers aren't close to their numbers, the State will be up your ass with a microscope.

Lower grade stuff will get sold at a discount to concentrate makers, get turned into oil, shatter, wax & edibles. Excess production will get stored for the day it can be sold at reasonable prices. I suspect we'll see brokerage emerge & stockpiling in anticipation of national legalization. Bet that CO will let you export when it becomes legal to do so. Uhh-huh, Uhh-huh! You'll just need to pay an export tax. Ka-ching!

When Joe Schmoe licensed grower starts getting his ass in a sling because he can't compete, he can't just bootleg it out to Minnesota. His books are wide open to state regulators. He'll need to sell it to a licensed CO vulture at a deep discount to cut his losses & get the hell out. Same with his equipment, too, which can be sold across state lines. Wanna start growing in a newly legalized state? They'll set you up at a good price, even put together complete turnkey deals, train you & your people in every aspect of the biz. Cut 'em a check & you'll be on your way. Cheap? You bet. The guy putting it together for you only paid a dime on the dollar.

It'll be interesting to see how it works out in federal bankruptcy court when somebody declares with product on hand.

Time for some trolls to eat crow

I found this on a stockholders site
If successful, the company could be operating one of the premier brands in cannabis while simultaneously growing a base of suppliers through its land management business - an attractive and diversified position in a rapidly growing industry.

This is their own words!!
Can this be denied as more of my personal opinion!

Agritek Holdings, Inc. (AGTK) provides innovative patient and agricultural solutions with the goal of becoming a leader in compassionate care technology for the medical marijuana industry. While it does not grow, harvest, or distribute cannabis,

Sure could be... but it is not now.
You sure that tastes like crow?

Well, everything they're selling is on the menu of the dispensaries they're claiming to get it from. Edibles in packaging, too. POUNDS.

This is the key right here. With every passing day legalization is becoming more and more mainstream and the powers that be are already moving and shaking.

When the state you live in starts to gain some traction, we as voters need to make sure there is the right to grow our own plants without repercussion. It will be the difference between the death of the mom and pop grower and a truly thriving free market were everyone at every level of production is included.

I agree that things like this do indeed make strange alliances but sometimes that is needed to gain momentum and change the minds of everyone. We as citizens just have to be really careful because of all the love that corporations and shady ass politicians get in this country. We need to make sure we put the leash around their neck before they put it around ours.

I think this guy says it well!
The way I see it we have a moral obligation to the next Generation to get it right..... now!
Can we all agree on this?

Most definitely....and...contrary to what some who think we sold out in CO seem to believe...what we have in place now is something many of us who have been growing for decades didn't think we'd see in our lifetimes.

now it's up to more states to join in...with more liberal parameters than CO's...and then the "norm" will change across the nation. What sucks is that the folks here whining that none of it is good enough/CO's/WA's laws suck/etc...or that Cali is the, like, dood, place to be.... more than likely aren't doing ANY legwork to make any changes where they live, they just want change to magically happen or for everyone to toss out a welcome mat for their presence.

I would like to state:
Hold on to what you have with a death grip, some would like to take it away for the sake of money like i posted below.

Here is another poke at the little guy.
Seems to me they are trying to make things go commercial everywhere!

Minnesota Medical Pot Grower Nonrefundable Application Fee: $20,000
"Out of all the applicants, the health department will select two medical marijuana manufacturers, which will deliver medicine to four distribution sites a piece across the state.

Man I want in on this gig, can you imagine The money you would make!!!
Half the state of Minnesota and they all have to buy from me.....HA HA YEA! That's what I am talkin' about!

It depends on the definition of getting it right, in the context of all the ugly political realities.

Personally I don't like the Ginormous fees and big pile of forms that go with med patient reg. in some states.

But that pales in comparison to the travesty of incarcerating people for involvement with Cannabis.

I would accept a big pile of government bullshit in exchange for a stop in jailing people, and a release of users and growers that are in prison - along with wiping their record clean.

The US gov. and the corrections industry have built some big businesses on the backs of innocent cannabis people.

It doesn't say anything about home growing, that's true.

Tell me you would not want to be the guy that lands that contract??

How much would ya pay?

How much do you think the guy /gal that wins this contract would be willing to pay?

You get where I am going with this.

I agree!

One idea would be let those that want to grow....Grow.
Those that don't want to grow can buy from those who have a surplus.
Those who sell would pay a fair tax.(make sure tax is used for the good of the people)

If you let all adults have it and control it...you would find, it would evolve into something a lot like wine. (as Jhhnn states)
If most of the people that use it grow it, you will find it everywhere.
If you flood the market it is good for all, except $$$$!

I love the farmers market idea!
If you have the farmers market scene you can bring the best quality bud to the table, and go home with several jars of the local top shelf stuff! (no money exchanged)
Great for the MED scene too....trade high THC for high CBD.....ect.
Like a friend of mine was tellin me about a high CBD tea made from hemp!(still learning after over 30 yrs. of use)

If it was not federally illegal you would see judges smokin it too.
They already do, you just don't see it!
I know this first hand from a certain boating experience!

Jhhnn(I am playin)

Thats colorodotopia!

even if they keep growing at home illegal, having possession legal will keep you out of jail regardless of where you got your weed. your average cop on the street will NOT have the needed
education and knowledge to do DNA testing of your bag & tell where it was grown or what type it is. and THOSE are the fuckers you gotta get by to stay free... I don't see them going to any more trouble trying to catch home growers after legalization than they do before legalization myself. there will always be a black market for seeds & clones no matter what the laws say unless they just say "fuck it, I give up..." JMHO :tiphat:

education and knowledge to do DNA testing of your bag & tell where it was grown or what type it is.You should speak to Jhhnn about this, to my knowledge they have a seed to sale tracking system in place in CO. now bar code and all. and THOSE are the fuckers you gotta get by to stay free... I don't see them going to any more trouble trying to catch home growers after legalization than they do before legalization myself.
I feel it is Much like alcohol, the revenuers will get ya....not the cops. there will always be a black market for seeds & clones no matter what the laws say unless they just say "fuck it, I give up..." JMHO :tiphat:
Unless they make it a federal offense, that would most likely deter most, from such activity.
As far as seeds go the Govt. controls them.....don't mess with Big govt...you will have the bull by the horns there.
I would not risk a federal offense for pot....So I would smoke whatever was handed to me and be happy I had something(Minn.Canada ect)...to me this is all wrong.
Bottom line is:
If I am forced to buy weed from the Govt. , I am not calling that the right way, that is a big for sure!
Jhhnn states the people have the ultimate power in CO. , why not use it to get it just right?

you realize, don't you, that the bar code is on the CONTAINER that the pot is in? it aint stamped on the weed itself? aint a thing in the world to stop you from buying a bag with the bar code on it, smoking it, & putting weed from the black market (or your closet) in the bag? just like drinking your package store "moonshine" (several varieties available, both clear/colored/flavored) and re-filling it out of your still ?
