Glad you've enjoyed it. I have got them to 1000, have never went up to 1150 though. I don't go 1000 with the biker I keep it at 600 cause she doesn't like light, much like my other OG cuts.
I mostly run my lights at 600 as a matter of fact. Every once in a while if the conditions allow I'll turn them up for a few weeks, say like, 3-7 and then back down. I can hit 2 per on 600 so no real need to fuss although I do want a new room with 10' ceilings.

start digging man! hehe i f*kn hate digging anymore, just now recovering... hehe I'm digging the ePap tho and glad I went for the height when I was able to i think it will make a big difference. I can take plants up to nearly 7' if i ever care to. maybe a sativa sometime.

hehe me too man, you don't know. way over the f*kn top. even for me.
right now i'm relaxin with some early picked black cream auto fem from sweet. Its great. good times. Its not very potent but the ruddy gives me some higher cbd i hope. i know exactly what it is and how it was grown. No where near MI dispensary quality but I'm happy with my first try. and thats cool by me.
I'll keep watching and learning from you guys up there.

Just pulled the trigger on 12 of these lil babies. I hope it's not too hard to grow as I am prone to fuck up plants.

Also, I have never grown an OG. Any pointers? My regiment at the moment is 1.0EC-1.2EC just Ionic Bloom and chicken compost.

I'm not gonna lie, this is the most difficult plant I have ever grown. I have still not figured her out.

I have trouble keeping her green upon entry to flower. I think she really needs to be jacked up on calmg before transition. At least in my case. She does better around the perimiter of my scrog, directly under the light she gets what I refer to as light sick. Pale green/yellowish sickly growth with purple stems. Looks like overwatering but its not.
Mine have weak root systems like all my og's do. She also has been getting neurotic spots in the colas lately. I think if I had more headroom she would be an easier grow.

ive seen symptoms like this before when i had root aphids.
not saying thats what you got but just to say weak roots show their struggle in cal mag deficiencies first.
im hoping at these numbers ill find a few more vigorous in the root growth deaptment.
i have some true ogs that have that wiggle in the root crown that makes me wonder if they are ok. i even left a few of the more dramatic examples out of the flower room and put on backup benchwarmer status and eventually culled them. they are showing some sort of stress that looks like overwatering too. they have a dramatic downward claw during lights out. they are on a slightly elevated mag and 2 part micro and 3 parts bloom g.h. at 1.2 E.C. with silica. ot sure how much more gentle i could go. they share a rez with gg#4 and raskals white super skunk and another slightly more vigorous sfv og hybrid (showing less dramatic but similar problem). dont want to drop the nutes too much.

Definitely not root aphids in my case. She has performed the same for over a year now. If I run her side by side with almost any other plant in my stable the BK's get watered every other day while 90% of my others NEED water everyday. Just not a big drinker. I also run TRUE and SFV and they both to a lesser extent have shitty root systems and will require feedings less often than any of my other strains.
I've always noticed if I have an vegging OG showing any signs of bad health if I stick them in a corner of my room away from any light and stop watering they green right up. I think this is telling but harder to correlate to the flower room where they are fixed in a trellis.
I can say if I can get her thru the first ten days of flower without going sickly she'll do fine. I can also usually tell within 4-5 days if she is going to be pissy on me.
Next run I will jack her up on calmg as I believe that will get her thru the transition from reg 600's to DE 600's.
I did get some sea crop and use it but it did not stop what I believe is a lack of MG come flower.
One last note, obviously I really love this plant for me to even think of putting up with her bitchy ass, yeah, the smoke is that good.

Well, Third....like I said...I got a 12 pack of her coming in....now whether or not I will be able to contribute well to this conversation is another story. I consider myself a pretty shitty grower and even more shitty when it comes to hard to grow plants. We shall see though. Will keep ya updated.
seeing as they look really happy in veg and before you flip to 12/12, have you tried feeding veg nutes for the first two weeks in flower? its worked for me when I had a similar issue.

Let me set you at ease...you'll do fine.
Even though BK may be a B to dial in, she surely can withstand a lot of abuse. In my tester thread (sadly deleted when Karma's area was removed about a year ago) I pretty much did all the nastiest stuff one could do to her and no hermies.
BK2.0 has about a 3x stretch. She makes big buds that invariably flop over, so some sort of support is advised and get it in early. TC says they need calmag, and I've been giving them 5 ml/gal of Technaflora's MagiCal with some minor fading. I plan on making some Mg additive from epsom salts to up the Mg since I think she gets enough Ca at this dosage, just needs more Mg.

I have a bottle of the general organics CalMag+ I plan on using. So am I understand this correctly? Is our issue that adding calmg invariably locks out nitrogen?
I plan on using a bottle of Ionic Bloom @ 1.0-1.2 EC depending and then adding the general organics calmg. I'm also going to be experimenting with some homemade compost tea. I have seen to many good things about that stuff not to try it and I have the materials to do a vortex brewer.
