We all have to prepare for everything.
If it can happen, it will happen.

This is a loop of 12/2 electrical cable formed into a circle.
It is then tied to 6 nylon strings and attached 1 to each support stakes.
This is a very effective way to secure the main trunk.
No matter which way the wind blows, there are always 3 stakes providing support.

Each stake is pushed 2 ft into soil and then clipped to wire cage that hold soil.

This pic shows stakes, top trellising, and string ladders.

This set up makes the plant and pot as one.
Would take a hella wind to hurt these girls when supported properly.

Looks like summer is here for now, roots are well established, plants are healthy.
Proper planning and simple techniques always grows good weed.
Later till next time.

Lovely summer so far this year.
Haven't had a good summer in some 4 years now.
A dry fall will make for a great year.

So anyway, gonna update on the garden today.
Start with the first one, and smallest.
Blue city diesel

Then to the next smallest is Jihad.

This is Afgooey, a great breeder cut, making nice babies.

Hillbilly's Grape Ape cut.

Good ole Goblin Girl, tasty bitch!!

Update time at the sanctuary.

After a solid week of clouds and intermittent rain, finally some sun.
Amazing how much energy is stored by the plant.
When the sun finally hits them, they shoot up.

Start with the Blue city diesel.
Still trying to catch up.

This is Jihad, also catching up.

This is the ole Afgooey cut.

This is Goblin Queen #2 from my first GQ pheno run.
She's looking to flower.

This is GQ #1 - also from first pheno run.

Continued update:

Next up is the Original Goblin Girl cut.

This is Dark Goblin.

This here is my Grape Ape from the crazy Hillbilly farm.

And lastly is Nocturnal #6
Gave her a strip down a week ago.
She's lovin the trim.

So far things look well.
But as most growers in the Pacific NW know, it's the weather in Sept that will make or break the seasons work.
Last two seasons were terrible, last year was the worst.
We'll see what nature throws us.
Peace

Looking luscious up there in the PNW, I'm hoping you get some sun shine and we get some rain, it's been several drought years in a row here and there is a large wild fire about 15 miles from my place, with all the dry bush and rocky steep impassable ground up there it's been hard for them to contain. The 105° And 16% humidity doesn't help with the fire either :-/

plants... are looking strong, and well kept....U inspire me too try harder....

You can def tell I've done this a time or 20
Proper preparation, lots of worms and compost, and a sprinkle of magic dust does wonders.
Thanks for the Rep and your kind words.

shit looks clean nice job, i love that trellis you got goin there. keep up the good work

If you're expecting heavy buds, you better have some good ole wrangling skills.
I'll still have to do some extra tying up of branches that grow beyond the ladders.
I use single strand electrical wire for further branch support once I see the need.
Stiff and plastic coated FTW

I've seen others plants literally split in half from improper support.
So sad, especially when it's so easy when plants are small.
Thanks for following along, and the compliment.

That Ol #6 is a big bitch, they all look really good
But the Noc looks like she will be huge

Thanks for the compliment.
I'm happy when my girls are happy.
So I'm happy fo sho.

Sometimes, You just see a plant when small, and just have a feeling that it's special.

When I first saw #6 vegging structure indoors, I knew that was the one to watch.
At only 16.9% THC, wasn't as strong as I hoped, but the terpenes are abundant.
Throw in the incredible growth with Indica dom, and fat yield, will make you want to plant this bitch in your biggest hole.
Hopefully she will finish by 1st week Oct.
She'll be worth coin if she does :dance013:
