Feeding my girls a reduced nutrient regiment (1.2EC max) has had astronomical growth rates. Blowing my last run out the water (1.3 - 1.7 EC). As many of you know, I use 54" cages for each plant, and generally flip the lights when they hit the 3rd rung (35"). This round of glue vegged so quickly they reached the 3rd rung between 14-18 days. I usually give them a full 30 days. I will still give them that amount of time because I need to let my Chiquita catch up.

These Glues are gonna be 45-55" before the lights even change!

P.S. No CO2 until flower. Vegging under 5000W HPS. Coco + Perlite. Botanicare PBP + a few goodies.

Oh you're in for a wild ride my friend.

Seriously they will stretch a good two feet at least going in that big and if the cage is the only thing to support them they will be a floppy mess.

This plant(OG)that I grew in a cage comes to mind. Yes she is in a cage and no that pic is not upside down.

Haha, awesome. I am not worried about the height. I have 10' between my floor and the bottom of my lights. The 54" cages are super heavy duty, and I have hundreds of 6' bamboo stakes if I need them.

I don't get the floppy phenomenon as badly as some people with this strain. Granted, my plants will be much heavier this run so it might be a bit more of an issue than before. However I supplement with Silica from clone and my stems are ROCK solid. Seriously, one of the strongest and most ridged plant branches I've ever worked with on this girl.

I think all the events are like that. Taking pictures and writing down names for a future when we aren't as free. I wish I didn't feel this way that way I could attend these events and finally get this cut. When it comes down to it though I would rather be the paranoid hippie in the woods as opposed to the cocky guy in jail. Gg4 hasn't made its way to my part of the mendocino coast yet. Maybe one day I will even be able to smoke it.

Yup, silica will slow down the floppin' for sure, as will a longer veg time, so stems get thicker.

Im not having to many issues with floppies and I grew them straight up w/ no topping or training at all. Wk 6 and the branches are sagging abit lower than they should be from the heavy flowers, but the other plants hold each other up.
Next indoor grow Im going ScrOG, and putting them in 10gln pots.
She is the perfect ScrOG plant.

I know everyone that entered glue. 2/3 of them are members here. Won't be too hard to find out what sample number theirs were.

Its kinda easy to pic out the death stars with all the grey looking trichs and 24% thc!

I assume gg4 is 20.4% that won. And iron labs website is amazing! a bit laggy to navigate but a lot of tests from all over are there. Ive found older glue tests ranging from 19.5%-20.5%

Out of 25 hybrid entries the glue stood tall.

Iron labs test results for 2014 MI cannabis cup entries

This is from before the cup so no strain names

Maybe one of you glue experts can identify the 3/25 glue hybrids from the bud pics. Complete with thc/cbd %

That webpage suks
Iron labs site is best viewed with chrome

Hey all, I modified the link slightly and this page is MUCH easier to read/comprehend

http://www.ironlabsllc.co/view/members.php?id=652
- click on the top option "HIGH TIMES CANNABIS CUP MI 2014: RESULTS VISIBLE"
- then click on statistics if you'd like (can drill down into flowers, concentrates, etc)
- then click "results" when your done looking at charts and want to see individual entries.
- OR just CLICK HERE and close the Popup window

Hope this helps,
BeL
