I only feed my girls ph balanced tap water. They are in FFOF soil at day 39, and they are all dark green still.
They will need a good 2 week flush to fade them really good.

I always thought that you should never let coco go completely dry?

I did this one time and had all sorts of lockout that took weeks to straighten out so I wouldn't ever let that happen again.

Edit: good luck third coast!!

You not suppose to.. but shit happens .... I think all coco groeers are guilty of it every once in a while unless they have automated feeds ..

even automated like i have been for 2 years now , unless you don't keep up with the plants growth & adjust the feed times accordingly , pots can dry out overnight if the conditions are right . most of my girls in 3 gallon pots , by the time they're half way through the flower cycle , i need to add a morning feed to them or they're dry by the time the lights come on cuz they're drinking so much .

Off topic but, when my last crop was going I took my 4 clones and dipped em upside down in tap water in an effort to clean them up, and ended up with my slowest veg so far with her. Same up pots, same "soil" recipe (but new batch), but they def seemed to stall, no worries now, just trying to figure out if that's normal after dunking clones or if maybe something was missed or changed in my recipe.

Here is the gg#4s1 almost dry. Another couple days she will be ready for the jars. She smells similar to the mom but not quite.. There is a an aroma I cant put my finger on. It's a sweet perfume smell mix in with hot coco...Very nice ...

PF - I don't know how you trim without scissors with springs to push them back open...

Your thumb muscle must be huge... ;)

Nice flowers.

I could have but this was only to verify she would not be a full blown hermie. I did take a cut of this so when it roots I will do it again but take her to 70 days. Since this one had a issue with a light leak I did not want to risk any of the other plants.. I don't expect much if any improvement will shall see.. This Pheno is def on the Diesel side of the gene pool..

Its not hard i'm use to it..;) I trim when the leaves are all dry. If its wet its very hard too trim..

I date all my Scissors. It lets me know witch ones are old. I do have a sharpener but after a year they just don't work as well anymore. I have a few with the curved blade I do just as good without that.

Are you referring to these?

I have like 20+ pairs of Fiskars floating around my house because A) I always seem to lose them and B) They dull quickly and never re-sharpen the same.

I could dig a different spring loaded trimmer that is superior to Fiskars.
