I always use them. They prevent little bits of weed from flying down into my throat so it's the only way i roll joints anymore

Yeah as another user said I put them in my blunts about 75% of the time here's a personal blunt I rolled for myself for tonight has about .3 inch crutch in it.

around here we use glass filter tips, like the phunkyfeeltips but better made. i absolutely love em! burn down to the quick and no paper taste.

...which I'd answer by saying I much prefer a cane...a cane has more character;
mine is covered with pro-cannabis stickers, and I have a mean "pimp limp" to boot!

((BTW: Anyone who has a lead or tip on where one, (ie: me), might find more small, pro-cannabis/mmj stickers, will be adored for all eternity! ))
...I had a little girl at a Furthur show put one of the first stickers on my cane;
as I was coming out of the bathroom, she put a 'smiley face' sticker on it that said: "you did it!"


.....Anyway, back on track... Per the actual question: Yes, I like a tip on the end of a joint; especially if it's going to be shared...However, most of the time, I roll 'em without one.
Joints are the tits though!!

It seams to me that crutches promote people putting their lips on the joint... fucking gross. I'll never understand how people can feel like its an ok thing to do when smoking in a group.

it really depends on what im rolling and the mood im in.. but i never use them in joints.. most of the time i use a crutch when i roll a blunt outa a blunt wraps

I have always rolled with a roachie and will continue to do so. I find the joint doesnt work very well at all without one, always getting clogged up and wet.

i don't like smoking joints. I do it a few times a year. Same thing with blunts. Most of the guys I know who DO smoke with such things do not use them. I have rolled j's with and without and I prefer with, but, like I said, my REAL preference would be to smoke through a clean glass piece.

When i go to the headshop for a glass piece, I buy two cheap ones. ($15-20) They're small and easy to clean and if I drop one I'm not out a bunch of money. I make sure that the carb hole is big enough to fit a q-tip in, for ease of cleaning.

The reason I buy two is that I can keep one of them in a jar of alcohol for a few days while I use the other one and then when it's time to clean it, I can pull the clean one out of the alcohol and put the dirty one in... and always smoke with a clean pipe.

(If I smoke blunts/joints/spliffs with a group of people, I make a fist and tuck the jay between my middle and pointer finger and then inhale through the space between my thumb and pointer finger so as not to "kiss" everybody in the room.)

I roll fat semi-cones... the taper is weak... cannabis and paper only. Usually toss the roaches, not worth getting caught with, so I will smoke that ho down to the nub.

I always wanted a classy oldschool cigarette holder for joint smoking. Haven't gotten one because I realize it would make me look like a gigantic faggot.. but I still want one.

a nice thing about having a cardboard tip is that as you get to the end you aren't sucking so hard you risk inhaling the cherry. Doh!

mebe a bit of a learning curve, i have been rolling with modiano clubs for 20 years, so using something like elements is like rolling with a bedsheet.

my brother makes em and sells em locally, i like his tweaks better than the feeltips. a little thinner.

this is one of the longer ones, its a bit long for this size paper and i prefer the smaller ones, but wanted to snatch a pic for ya.
