I've noticed a few differences in this cut compared to the last.

The last round of cuts, that appeared to be "dudded", had side-shoot dominant growth. The plant basically started growing sideways and sending out many thin branches until it resembled a nest, of sorts. A tangle of lower stems that lacked strength and size. Also, the stems broke very easily.

The main base stem stayed about the same thickness the whole time, about as thick as a pencil.

The new cut has thick, strong stems that can be bent without snapping. She also has apicle dominant growth structure with fast growing side shoots as opposed to the side shoots running the show.

The main stem where it comes out of the ground is much thicker and continually gets thicker as the plant has grown.

With that post you, my friend, have hit on some absolute key points around which the post I deleted was I based on.

Josey's picture and that description of yours is good evidence that I might be onto what the problem is, and pushes that bit further towards it being nothing at all to do with a virus etc.

I'm going to repost it. Have a read and see what you think. Bear in mind it was written before you or Josey posted, but I deleted it because I thought people would just brush it off out of hand.

Everyone has pictures of dudds, so why aren't they being sent in to the lab?
That would eliminate the guessing/theories.......

Nice try @ backtracking, and un-saying what you already said, ie., that all pictures shown were grower error, and that you could point out the grower error in each and every one, and that it wasn't a pathogen of any kind. You also conveniently ignored AGAIN that this is NOT a clone only problem. It's evident from your posts that you have no idea what's going on here, but are trying to change the facts to fit your nebulous theory. It's pretty obvious that a pathogen of some sort, or a combination of pathogens, is the culprit here. If enough people send in their dud samples (you know, the duds you said didn't exist because you hadn't seen one), we will find out what the pathogen(s) is.
Greyskull is in Hawaii, so he probably can't legally send samples through the federal mail, but the peeps in California can send in their samples legally.
Storm Shadow: What are you waiting for? The answer is awaiting, but it won't be forthcoming without samples. If you, or anyone in Cali has them, please send them in.
