looks good. are you going to use any other support beside those nets

In the past I only used a cage but this year I am doing the inner cage and hortanova layers. I put a layer of trellis over the real big girls few days ago and then maybe another layer in few weeks. I know they are going to get way bigger so I just wanted one layer for now and most of it will be going up in early august for the stretch.
fucking great season so far !

@shcrews, you guys throwing up some trellis soon on yours ¿

How much direct sun do you get in your spot? I a place that looks equivalent to yours but other growers in the area say it will be a waste of time. The girls look really good.

they get direct sun from 930 to 545 approx. I could have cut down some trees to make more light but I like the trees too much lol

@quit, Is your spot on a south slope ?

At this point in the year it would be a waste of time but there is always next year. Might as well try. I've grown some adequate plants on the north slope of a canyon. They flowered in July. It was like light deprivation without a tarp.

It is on a south facing slope. With all the tall pine trees it gets 5.5-7 hours of direct light depending on the time of year. I have another property that I use for outdoor that gets sun for 6am-530pm. I put out a couple clones a few years back and they all started flowering then reverted and the ones at the other property did fine. May be seed would be a better option? Any input would be great. thanks

Hey Stank, I can't PM you back cuz I need to have 50 posts...so I jumped on your thread to respond. I hope that was ok. Mine are 2.5-3' deep and 6x6. I think I should have gone 8x8 though. Roots are almost to the sides now. Watering my ass off! Whooohooo!

All my plants are from seed and I have had a few already preflower on me already but I dont thing it has anything to do with the amount of direct sun as much as it being bad genetics making them preflower. Most of this garden is new genetics to me so its trial and error for me to this year. I took clones of everything so I hope i have some nice phenos this year. You can also use supp lighting until July to avoid preflower but its a bitch sometimes to setup in remote spots. good luck on yours bro

the tea brewer is designed and built in my garage and the tank was bought in san diego few years ago. It was way cheaper than buying a brand name vortex brewer and mine makes a crazy vortex in the middle when running. Im running a big ol Danner pond pump to it.

SOIL

SOIL

Where do you get your soil? any recommendations because I am also in your neck of the wood.

I am also interested to know what type of soil you are rockin with if you don't mind getting into it

The soil is from Hasties Soil and Gravel in Olivehurst Ca. They have a few locations in NorCal. They do free delivery within 20 miles or so.I used their "Veggie mix" soil & the "Superblend" mix. Soil is 2/3 veggie and 1/3 superblend. I also added a long list of ammendments to this soil including mushroom compost and coco.
