Thiamine itself aka B1 is gonna be useless. NAA or IAA (I think is what is needed) BUT I was trying to dig it out yesterday but can't find the info, NAA was restricted from sale in Canada about 4-5 years ago. That why there was a shortage of red Thrive Alive at the time since it contained NAA which is the synthetic auxin so they couldn't sell it till they used something else.

I am not a Superthrive advocate by any means (I think it's a snake oil and have never used it) , but I have a hard time taking the video of some guy growing in Miracle Grow in an uncontrolled outdoor environment as the definitive experiment on the subject. I haven't looked, but there has to be a better controlled side-by-side experiment somewhere online, no?

Good grief... one of my dearest friends owns Technaflora. I've made batches of Thrive Alive Red myself. This is simply not true. There has always been a non NAA version of Thrive Alvie...its the green version. And both have been selling in Canada without issue for 15+ years...

The ingredients work... B1 and Napthalene are good 'tonic' ingredients. I always have a bottle of Thrive Alive Red on hand for cuttings, transplants, etc.

It's not snake oil lol.

Nothing wrong with Miracle Grow or the fucking sun either. Jeez

I have friends pulling 100 lbs a week of indoor grade A, using peters as the base nutrients. I love (facetiously) the continued ignorance of most green growers especially on the inter web. Rarely do people talk above their understanding in real life.
