Hi Dubi, if you can get it right (takes practice) you will never want anything else.
The zamaldelica I have smells very strong and very resinous already, I am looking forward to growing the clones of her outdoors.
I will be planting them out next week for expected August harvest. Our winter in the north of our state should be perfect.
Daytime temps 30 to 32c, nighttime 18 to 20c, just starting 12 hours daylight per day 1st April, by July will be 10.5 hrs per day. God given flowering in my opinion.
Fingers crossed.

Chapter 5

Chapter 5

You asked for it here it is no bullshit.
I never needed more than one drag on a pin spliff but we used to finish it just to get really wasted.
Very common to get visual hallucinations for instance if a guy had a big nose you would get fixated on it and it would morph into a bigger nose, once while driving I could see myself below me driving the car as if I was 50 feet above it. i couldn't speak to anyone as if you were asked a question you would be tripped out just watching there lips moving in slow motion, while walking it felt like I was a jet fighter the wind was whistling in my ears I was traveling so fast. Your mouth dried up instantly and wouldn't come unstuck until you had a drink and that felt like you were drinking thick syrup not water.
At night the lights would blure and dazzle you confusing your senses.
Basicaly every sense was not only hightend but twisted and distorted.
I have never had cannabis like it from anywhere else, I have tried all the local stuff from southern africa, Durban. swazi, zambian, congo, mozambique all can be good even devastating if you get a good one, but the best Malawi is in a league of its own. Unfortunatly the Malawians are very poor and every man and his dog is now growing dope and cashing in on the demand.
90% of Malawi in Malawi is tourist commercial grade crap, good by most standards but not the chapter 5, this was grown in the remote north of the country by a few farmers who had been growing it for thousands of years. It is only available to those in the know, or who are in the right circle of friends. The African elite, politicians and other powerful influential people all use it for magic rights as once high on this you would believe anything was supernatural.
Most people do not believe me when I tell them and I am tired of being called a bullshit artist, ignorance is I they say.
Please do not join them denigrating what I have just told you, as it demeans the growers and people who know what I say is true.
I cant be the only one who has ever tried it.
I prefered it to acid as the trip was kinder and much more fun.

Great info here, thanks Tangwena.
Of all the varieties of seeds from Ace that I tried, Malawi could be called the queen.
it is the only variety I decided to keep the clone...:)
Her craving just demeans everyone else, it's a really dangerous superb sativa .
Colossal psychedelic high . All your daily energy goes into the @fryer@ and begins to @fry@ your brain, causing atomic reaction in the mind.
I'm afraid to imagine what effect will be after the traditionally correct cobs cured ,but I am very sick perfectionist , and definitely gonna try this method of cure. Its looks and sounds better than BHO from malawi, and in general, such as Malawi grade allows you to forget about the extracts . Such as malawi needs pure organic soil grow under african sun and true traditional cure process . that bio shit will beat any bho and extracts :woohoo:

Hi bwoyrude, thanks for the feedback.

Malawi is our strongest landrace and inbred sativa, that's why she was described in that way in our official description of the strain.

I highly doubt you can find such a strong and consistent pure landrace sativa in seed form nowadays from other seedbanks, maybe in hybrids, but not in an inbred landrace sativa like is this case.

Malawi must be correctly grown and fully matured to reach this peak of killer potency (and you grew her and the others till excellence despite the heat problems), else the experience could be dissapointing, especially for growers that are more into fast flowering indica modern hybrids, that look great and smell skunky in 55 days.

I have shared the killer malawi clone with growers around my area. The growers that have no patience or skills to grow sativas indoors were dissapointed with malawi. But the ones that smoked a well matured and cured malawi confirmed is the strongest cannabis they have ever had, i have seen a few ones having strong panic attacks after smoking it, thinking they are going to die and need to bring them to hospital, others simply faint and lose conscience because cannot handle the strenght of the effect.

Malawi is the queen in terms of potency, her sibling hybrid Golden Tiger too. I'm sure if you grow a few more panama and zamaldelica plants then you will be also very pleased and you will be able to find outstanding cannabis expressions, on a par to malawi, maybe not in potency but in other traits.

dubi, is the killer malawii feno more compact? or crazy wild growth?..... my feno seems to be more compact, it has craaaaaaaaaaaaaazy resin production and so far, only the typical sweet sativa smell

i´m really liking her so far, although I expected more stretch from them, non the less... exquisit plant!

Hi crazyfool,

The old killer malawi mum has a vigorous growth, strong branching and medium internode lenght. It's not very lanky or uncontrolable.

Killer phenos are qualified based on flowering traits and potency: massive resin production, huge trichome size, extreme potency and very deep and long lasting effect.

There are not growing traits linked to this 'killer' traits. Indeed i'm finding new killer malawi expressions in latest generations that are more compact, with a faster flowering time than the original killer malawi mum.

cool Dubi, if you could stop by my journal, you will see some better shots of the malawii ... its my favorite plant this run, unfortunately, I didn´t clone this feno..... but I have another girl in veg that looks better then this one... lets see next run!

making malawi cobs

making malawi cobs

Hi guys I have some pics I took while making some cobs as you can see its easy. The curing in the vacuum bags is the critical part get that right and you have sweet red/orange smooth herb from green harsh heads in 6 weeks.

Thanx Tangwena, nice tip. I was thinking you use already dried corn leaves for the cobs, but I see they're not really dried and still green. Does it have any importance for the curing or it can be done also with dried leaves?

Nice plants mate they look good.
Vlad I use green as when they dry they shrink and wrap the cob even tighter, after a week or so you can tighten the binding even more to get the cob even more compressed.
The end product should be hard like a piece of wood when cured and dried.

did i something wrong?

did i something wrong?

hi folks
got my malawi fem(6.6.14 so its recent stock) beans a week ago, put them in water and within 20h all popped.
i put them in soil and about 3d later 3 germinated.
one germd the next day with a lot of skin on the codyd so they don't open on their one(sprayed everyday).
one bean stayed on the groundlevel(looked big), had a big crack and the codys u could see turned green(also keeped spraying daily).
the last one wasent seen any more(dont dig for it)
today i tried to pull of the last bit of skin from nr4 and pulled it out of the ground. the one that stayed on groundlevel was flushed out of the soil

i am sure that i don't use to much force.
the second one was pulled out by the force of the waterdpray

anyone seen that before?
thx willi

Hi Doc you are going to have your work cut out containing those two in that tent. I read your diary(not). But the pictures speak a thousand words.
I will be following with interest to see how they turn out, heaps of potential there.

I have been very impressed as I germinated ten malawi fem seeds. They have doubled in size in just 36 hours after putting the germed seeds in one of those seed propagator boxes with the plastic lid. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long these ace malawi fem plants will take to get to harvest? I'm interested in knowing how they'd do outdoors in a hot climate like New Zealand or Australia. Would I be correct in saying that they'd take 2 months of veg time and 3 months for flower when growing outdoors? Would a four foot long by four foot wide by one foot deep hole in the ground give me the proper sized hole for a multi pound plant? Thanks for your input. So far I am quite impressed with these seedlings!
