you're killin' it, hush!

if that one in the center seems to be light deprived, you could always raise it up.

can't wait to see the finsh

Yeah it's not crowded out of the light yet, but good call. I was going to do that with several plants in the next few days.

still no smells as of yet ? :dunno:

Don't get me wrong, the garden smells nice and pungent! I especially notice it when the lights go off. But individual plants aren't really giving me any identifiable smells yet. Some are more pungent and skunkier than others, but mostly what I smell in there is a cumulative smell. I just replaced the carbon filter 2 weeks ago. I bet that's why I'm not smelling things so strongly in there. Every inhale I take smells like fresh carbon more than anything else!

Oh yeah.. Looking good! What ya feeding?

Maxibloom, for now. I've been thinking about switching to Jack's but I'll probably keep with the Maxibloom through the end of this grow.

BB pale green male

Looking good Hush.

This is my BB male, same pheno. The original plant from seed.

As can be seen quite bushy; he tends to throw a lot of branches.
I think it is a quite Thai leaning pheno.Probably you will have some colour in that BB at the end of the flowering.
This male starts showing colours with around 15/17 C min.

Have you tried rubbing stems and that?
Just in case...

Enjoy the best part of the grow.

Doing the Lucas with maxibloom? I had luck with it using flora. But I have been reading awsome things about flora nova bloom.
Some of the best buds I have seen here over the years have been grown with maxi. Looking good!

Yeah, I keep rubbing the stems and this one smells like nothing. Also her flower top looks like cauliflower. Very weird looking. Yours looks a bit different than mine but after the reveg she'll get bushy, so we can compare then. Mine is just so short, and flowered so young, that it's hard to tell. I am really excited to watch this one particular plant show herself!

Yeah I always used flora for years and years before trying Maxibloom. Maxibloom ended up being much more cost efficient so I stuck with that on my big grows. But instead of going back to Flora series I thought I would try something new. I've also used Floranova, and it worked great, it's just a bitch to shake up.

I finally got most of canopy leveled out. I still need to come up with 3 more platforms to put 3 of the BBs on, but other than that, this is as leveled as it will get for the moment. Day 30:

The BBs:

The stretch seems to be over on just about all of the plants, but it's hard to say for sure with the shorter SS pheno. Those look like they are going to flower long!

any standing out to you? whos your fav

It's hard to play favorites, since so many of them look so good. In all truth, there is this one Northern Skunk that has a beautiful structure and size, just almost perfect. Which is interesting because that's how I felt about the NS male that I decided to keep in the mother cabinet. Northern Skunk is just a really beautiful strain!

But the more "indica leaning" SS is also very beautiful. Sleek, slender leaves and a graceful form. It's just REALLY hard to play favorites. :)

I couldn't take it, I had to prop up those last 3 Blueberries... *Now* the canopy is as leveled as it's going to get. :D

Also, the arrangement in here currently has all the strains segregated, so I can instantly look at a plant and know what strain it is. It was a mess when they were all intermixed. All the plants on the left row are SS, the right row are NS, and the back 2 rows are where they come together. Then the BB are just the 9 up front center plants in square pots, but those have looked different from the other strains right from the beginning.

Yeah they don't like nitrogen at all, and I've been feeding them Maxibloom, which has N in it. So I'm going to start feeding them something else. I'll have to see what I have on hand.

Ahh, good ole annoying blueberry. :)

Once you get it dialed though, I bet it's nice. My blueberry plants, in veg at least, seemed like pretty big magnesium hogs.

Yeah I'm going to give them a better run next time around. Dedicate a garden just to them. For now I'm interested in seeing the phenotypes and finding a keeper or 2. Things seem to be on the right track.

I finally collected enough pollen from the male BB and moved him into the mother cabinet. So now I just cross my fingers and hope my collection and storage methods were sufficient! I would like to make some practice crosses as soon as possible. I'm thinking of just taking a handful of cuttings off one of the mothers, probably Sadhu, and pollinating branches with all three strains. :D

Here's the pollinated female, presumably in the middle of making seeds:

As of today, I'm just now beginning to smell an aroma from this one, and honestly my first thought was blueberry pancakes. So hopefully this will give me some nice seeds to sort through later on!

I had the Northern Skunks out of the tent today to inspect them individually. Turns out there is this one that smells like candy. Most of them smell like nothing but some of them also smell kind of skunky. I tend to be partial to candy smells and flavors. :D

The Blueberries are still barely smelling like anything. The Skunks are exhibiting varying degrees of pungent sweet armpit funk.

The albino blueberry is very strange to me. The top flower is extremely rock hard, and it's almost entirely white. It really reminds me of cauliflower, lol. But it appears to be a low yielder, unless this thing is going to be a 90 day flower! I don't particularly want any strains that go that long, especially if it yields low. So I don't know what to think about this pheno. Not yet, anyway. It's really beautiful to look at though. Pics don't do her justice. But here are a couple anyway:

Nice canopy. How bout some close-ups?! Which strain is showing the best trichome production at this stage?
Just started 24 ss. 23 germed and 20 are looking good. Anxious to see how they turn out.
