Hi evoleno,
I am not exactly sure how old the seedlings were when I applied the Brassinolide. Thats the reason for me trying to document
things with pics so I can go back thru to see dates etc... but I do have some seedlings coming up that I will spray if you want
to stick around. I should be able to better document things now.

Wassup mojave green,
Not sure what your trying to say or point out my friend,
This is the amount I am dealing with so I see no problem.

Also I would supply a link but not sure if it is cool but here is a copy of the writing.

BTW Melissyl Alcohol is Triacontanol

The Effects of Melissyl Alcohol on Plants
By C.A. Rubino
For many plant growers there exist many different supplements and fertilizers available to help stimulate plant growth.
These are used for many reasons, including to supplement a nutrient that would be otherwise missing from the current
environment, increase growth speed and size or to create a healthier plant. Some supplements, such as melissyl alcohol,
can be used to stimulate the growth of a plant beyond its normal capacity.
Triacontanol
The technical term for melissyl alcohol is triacontanol. Triacontanol is a 30 carbon straight-chain primary alcohol with the
formula C30H62O. Triacontanol is naturally occurring, though it can be, synthetically produced, creating a more potent
extract. In nature triacontanol can be found in several different plants, such as alfalfa or in beeswax. Triacontanol can be
used to treat both whole plants as a spray or even as a soil treatment before seeding.
Growth
One of the strongest ways that triacontanol affects different plants is that it stimulates the growth of the plant by
decreasing carbon dioxide (C02) inhibition, which in turn increases CO2 assimilation and enhances photosynthesis.
This process helps create plants that are able to acquire more nutrients from their environment, which leads to larger
faster growing plants and larger higher quality crop yields. When used on flowering plants, the blooms of the plant are larger,
more numerous and of higher quality.
Health
Triacontanol also greatly increases the health and hardiness of a plant. Most plants treated with triacontanol show an
increase of cell density between 15 and 30 percent. This yield makes for a stronger plant. Most treated plants also show
stronger and more resilient root structures. Triacontanol also is effective at protecting plants against adverse weather conditions
such as frost. In a study conducted by the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland, it was found that young cucumber plants,
which are extremely sensitive to frost and chilling, were significantly more resilient to chilling and resisted many of the negative
effects of chilling when treated with triacontanol.
Usage
Triacontanol is used across the world as a natural growth stimulant. It can be found in all types of horticulture. It is used on
farms to stimulate the growth and crop yield of items such as corn, rice, cucumbers and tomatoes. It also is used to grow stronger
and higher quality flowers, such as tulips. Because most plants respond positively to triacontinal, it is a popular tool for plant growers.
Triacontanol is water soluble, however, and needs to be applied to plants in rather low concentrations. When used at the same
time with similar elements, triacontanol has extremely reduced effectiveness.

It appears to be effective with cannabis as well. Looks like this when applied lol:plant grow:

So not much trimming got done today. Had to make some honey for the bones etc. etc.
All seedlings were sprouted this morning. 5 Space Candy 4 Bay 11
Need to finish trimming
Need to get Animal Cookies transplanted but running out of space fast.
Need to get rdwc cleaned and setup. Clones should root soon.

Think that is all for now

Hi there Double DDs,
Thank you for that link of great information. I had read elsewhere some similar findings but I am hesitant at this
time to go all in sort of speak. In time when I have more experience and knowledge I think I will be brave enough
to give it a try. I have seen gibberellins make a 2 foot plant into an 8 foot plant so I really need to learn the best
times to apply. Currently I am being overgrown lol.

mojave green, mojave green, mojave green, :dunno:
I dont know where you are coming from. Your going to need to supply some type of input besides a link.

Besides all that I have been bizzzzzeeeee.
First, I would like to report my findings on tria after applying 25ppm tria and 200 ppm Calcium Chloride. Growth
has been ridiculous. I had to top them because they were growing so fast. I may have to put my experiment
on hold until I can get a plan together.

My Gage Green order finally made it minus the Oaktree. Had to go stealth option and drop the breeder packs to
assure they arrive. Oh got some Goji OG from Bohdi, Grape Stomper OG and Talisman from Gage Green plus the
freebies. :woohoo:
picture.php

Finally got this hydro system together that I got from craigslist. Had to add the pumps, air line, diffusers and pvc pipes.
I cut the pvc as needed to work with my setup.

The system makes quite a lot of bubbles. Should supply good oxygen levels.

you may of answered this already but how are your getting the brassilinoids? (sp?) is it powder like the tria or is it in a product you can buy?

BayBHuey

La Vida Loca
The Brassinolide I purchased is in white powder form and is water soluble unlike the tria. I got the Brassinolide from
http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/brassinolide.html but you have to purchase at least 1kg. You can also purchase
a few grams from mbferts and ebay. I got Gibberellins to try from the mbferts.

Hope everyone had a great 4th. I got to run for now. Have some transplanting to do.

HiYa tleaf,
Those were actually treated with brassinolide. I plan to try the tria on the next batch of Animal Cookies I have
coming up. Nice burst of growth though. Wonder what things would look like if I apply tria and brass together.

Well I have been busy transplanting, cloning and trimming besides all the other regular duties.
Chopped down the Green Crack, Chem 4 and the last of GSC

Hi ssq.talker

Great to have you aboard. Hope you enjoy the ride :smoker:

I guess I can't show pics. I ran out of storage space.

I took a couple of pics to show her in flower at day 29 but so sorry. But from the way she looks, I would definitely
call this thing an ANIMAL or maybe even a BEAST lol. I have not grown anything that resembles this gal in a while.
Hopefully I will be able to show her to you soon.

Well I was able to finally get the next round of Animal Cookies transplanted from solo cups to 1gal pots.
Installed a few more fans for better circulation in flowering room.
Hydro system has not shown roots as of yet. One clone appears to have taken while the other three clones appear
to be struggling :clock watch: to set roots. Hopefully in another day or two.

Another bean order arrived safely. Picked up some Bodhi Sunshine Daydream and DJ Short's Blueberry.

That was my last pic that I could upload so it may get a little boring around here :tumbleweed:

YAY finally 50

Not a lot to report.
Hydro still not kicking out the roots.
I need to learn the best method for starting clones in a system like this. Seems like a complete waste of electricity at this point.
Moved Doc's, Coughs and Headband to flower.
Need to transplant Whites

Wanna follow up on the Animal Cookies from BC Bud. This is at day 29.
picture.php

picture.php

This is my first go with any gear from BC Bud. So far I am very impressed with what I am seeing despite all the negative reports
I have read about BC Bud. I have had no issue with hermies or germination problems. Went 5 for 5 with 2 females and 3 males.

Time to go tend to the ladies.

@tleaf, yeah she has pretty blades on her but I am not seeing the Cookies or the Fire OG :idunno: in her.
I need to find some one else growing this gal to compare. I guess its possible I could have been shipped the wrong beans.

@unregistered, thanks buddy, its been a long journey and hopefully a much longer one ahead :canabis:

I was going to take it easy :smokeit: today and watch the cup. But since I have some time I have decided to mix up some
Brassinolide and spray the Animal Cookies I just transplanted to see if I can speed things up to get them into flower. A little
exciting :hotbounce for me to see if I can get a jump on flowering. That would mean less time, money and energy. :headbange

I'll get a pic just before I spray them to compare in a week or so.

BayBHuey

BayBHuey

La Vida Loca
Okay while I was waiting for the game I mixed a batch of Brassinolde.

picture.php

Also, thought I would post the information I received from the supplier
Brassinolide 0.1% sp
Completely soluble in water (100% water soluble) - easy to spray Promoters growth, increase yield, improves quality
Increase the percentage of fruits setting, promotes fruits enlargement
Improves the ability of disease resistance
Regulates cell differentiation on crops
Increases activity of seed germination
Application:
Applying 10-15days before harvesting can prolong keeping quality of vegetables, fruits and flowers.
Spraying before flowering can promote the formation of flower buds.
Spraying during flowering stage can resist fruit dropping and flower dropping.
Enlarges the size and concentration of sugar in fruits and reduces the amount of malformed fruits.
Recommendations:
Dilute 5 grams with 40-50 liters water and spray on the crop foliage
Or dilute 2 grams with 15-20 liters water and spray on the crop foliage
can be mixed and applied with other inputs and insecticides

Animal Cookies just before application of Brass for comparison later

I have a 12 pack of those seeds I was about to pop. I can let you know how mine are

BayBHuey

@tleaf, yeah I'm not going to worry :gaga: too much about it because whatever it really is, I really like her structure.
Out of everything in my garden she is my fav :smokeit: right now.

@DoubleDDsNuggs, That would be cool. I really would like to know if I have what I should to compare. I have a pack of BC Bud's
Fire OG BX3. I wonder  if that is right as it came on the same order (stealth I believe).

Not sure now if I want to purchase beans if they are not in breeder packs anymore. I never felt that was important until now.
But honestly I should not jump to conclusions plus I love what I got anyway. I just like knowing what I'm growing when I pay for it.
I am sure others feel the same or similar when it comes to purchasing beans. :2cents:
