I'd really like someone to tell me if the E-Paps with their different hood design really dispel the heat as advertised...

But the E-pap or Gavita is the best light on the market currently. No question about it.

I only have e-paps so can't comment about gavita. The e-paps do seem to dissipate heat well. On 825 setting you can hold your and 12" from the bulb no problem

Said it can disrupt them, that's all (that 99.5% comment I made; ya, me proclaiming .05% of roots being ruined clearly eliminates the possibility of me thinking any plant will be healthy after such .05% catastrophe). Absolutely there great, you just need high Ceilings 10' min(OEM recommendation). The one in my pic is at 8' set to 825w but can go up to 11' if needed.

6 may be too much from the looks of the stretch on the GG#4. Id love to have a run with her in my setup of VSCROG with 4 7 gallon pots around a 600W. I think 4 in good size pots would fill in quite nicely. Marlo is also killing it in a VSCROG right now.

well if you knew me you would know I really don't give a rats ass . we just come here to post pic's and compare methods aand grow styles of growing gg4 and crosses of gg4. your more than welcome to join in and have some fun and talk with us, but when you post a statement like you did about small stakes affecting a plant it draws many people that actually know wtf there talking about to respond, sorry but if you cant take the heat stay out of the kitchen

d3 I run 1000's and run 4 plants per bulb but I veg them till there 5 to 6 ft tall before flowering, even a shorter gg4 will stretch a lot side ways running vert bulbs so I would still say 4 for a 600w , 2 stacked 600's would be awesome.

check out his gallery I understand now, with a lil waeving in the vert scrog the height wouldn't be a prob.

with the top of the bulb even with the top of the plant they don't stretch much vertically . a little but not much, most of the stretch is in the side branching, end results with a 5ft plant is 6ft but I tie the top horizontal onto the screen. so I guess closer to 7 ft . I haven't come close to matching what PF just got off his, I get 4 to 6 zips per plant, all lolli popped up .

I want to try gavitas. I've been researching them. Opinion?

do it , you wont regret it, I am thinking of changing my whole grow style just so I can use them, I believe they will more than pay for them selves in the first grow , third coast, PF, and many others are killing it yield wise with them

I have been saving up for some there is way to much info that supports the cost vs. yield ratio...and after seeing users here that have them dialed in it's a no brainer.

I'm gonna go stick some bamboo stakes in my shit cause that's one hell of a pull off one plant daaamnnn

I'm startn to think I could get better use out of 4 e-paps instead of 6 in a12x12 and still have room to move around. With the lights spread

My flower room is 12x10, DE bulbs on the ends with a 1k Vertical in the center. Been switching between 1k and 825w depending on temps. Room never gets hotter then 82f. I don't think you need 6 DE in a 12 x 12. 4 is perfect.
