Look's like you have some great sun to catch there! You rapping some wire around those T post? Sure would make a good deer barrier..

Side note: Some outdoor glue's didn't take to well to the Colorado sun this year but are looking like they are on their way!
We didn't have much deer problems last year, so no fence. and yah the glues had a rough start but i think they can take a lot of stress and still bounce back

Looks like low temps and high ph . 7 might just be kinda high for that one . goo locks up and turns yellow and ugly if i feed it 7 but stays green and healthy @ 6.0 - 6.4 .
We have no way to adjust our pH right now but will definitely look into that. . getting some reservoirs next week probably a few 250's just for watering teas and stuff

fuck ya looks like things are catching now!
yeah i think we are on the right track now. gotta make sure no overwatering but also no underwater cuz the sun out here will fry a plant quick. You can get a sun tan in 5 minutes out here

Dude from these pictures, most of you plants look like they're picking it up. I only seen a couple that look really stunted. Nice work. I'm pulling for you.

I count aleast 14 that appear healthy and ready to explode.

damn the cops made you chop plants? guess it could have been worse...once they catch make sure to bust those foliars out and keep them fed.

you guys dont have any reservoirs on the hill? how do you water just straight out of the well?

dude you guys NEED backup reservoirs it seems pretty crazy to not have any. you never know when the well pump takes a shit or some other curveball. for a garden that size i would recomend at least a 3000 gallon tank, and a 550 or two for teas. super easy to plumb them all together on float valves so you never need to worry about filling them up.

Your plants are looking great!

But I wish you would post thumbnails with links to larger versions, for people with slow connections like me.

Yah the cops have been to our place 3 times this spring, once with vests and handcuffs. We Stayed out of jail by killing all but 25 plants before they came back again. to check the next morning (being white helped too). Was brutal to kill a bunch of 3foot tall plants. If y'all think you know somebody with bad luck I probably have them beat.

And yah we are just watering from the well, no funds for a nice big reservoir. All these compliance checks kept us from doing any spring indoor or light-dep, plus ppl still owe us money from last year even, and one of our partners backed out this year.

We have funds for rent, cages/nets, some more dirt, and thats about it. I'm used to doing shit on minimal budget but definitely hoping the water supply stays ok

Trying not to think about it now haha. Peace. Happy full honey moon! Friday the 13th too!

Sorry, they work for me. I am using an outside host. I was uploading pics on icmag but it kept flipping them sideways and upside down. Idk which is worse u tell me.

at the bare minimum you can get a 250-550 at tractor supply for under 500 bucks, or find those used 275 framed water totes those are usually on craiglist for cheap. you definately want a backup water supply, or at least some kind of storage in case you need to call in a truck. water is the lifeblood of the whole operation you are risking the entire thing by not having it. hopefully that well is good did you get it tested whats your water table level and gpm?

that fucking sucks the cops came that many times... sounds super strict, im hoping to god that doesnt happen to me. are you guys far off-road or relatively close to town. i heard nevada county is getting real strict with that 25 plant count. up in butte you are currently allowed 99 on 40+ acres, 72 on 20+, 66 on 10+ 48 on 5+ and 24 on anything smaller...but every year they try to ban growing and every year the growers fight back and put it on the ballot.

we dont know shit about our well.. hate to bug the landlord and i dont know how to check those things.

Some of the big Gorilla Glue's are fucked, still yellowing and now starting to pre-flower. We will probably pull them and replace with fresh starts , some Bodhi's Wookie or maybe some forum cookies. thats what we get for not using supp lighting.. Plus we dug into the soil and found out the glueswere having issues because the coco they were started in was drying out before the soil around it, causing simultaneous overwatering and underwatering symptoms. Basically the gg4's are fucked. everything else is looking pretty good though. We have plans for a late second plot to recoup some of our losses with these big plants. would have never been an issue if not for the plant limit, cops, etc.. but we have to adapt as the season progresses. All these setbacks are major bad news, but if everything else keeps growing we can still have a good season.

lesson learned today:

-use supplemental lighting (already knew that one, but next year make it top priority)
-don't veg outdoor starts in coco
-life's a bitch

Sorry to hear your plants are having a hard time.

It can help to buffer with the same mix they're in to help get them established.

Young plants always do better than old plants grown for a long time. Whatever you replace, if possible, put multiple plants per pot to ensure a good yield.

Best of luck.

PS I put 1 blue dream in a 400 gallon raised bed getting 100% sun on a solar meter on 6/10 and thought of you. Lets see how big it will get.

I smell a challenge... :dueling:

Haha, a challenge maybe, but we arent planting no fucking Blue Dream :) !! thanks byf. i think We will take your advice and replace the glues that are lagging tomorrow. How big was the blue dream that you plugged on the tenth? if you don't mind me asking.

Fact or speculation?
the ignore function works perfectly.. I don't like unnecessary negativity, already have enough of that. BYF's disdain for me and my fellow 209 growers made me really sad. Drue Bleam and myself couldn't sleep right for a week cuz of what he wrote... . but lately Backyard farmer has been nicer i think.

Anyway my motto is never burn bridges in a community this small.

next step, start foliar feeding. new to me i've always grown without it. Positive Note: one of our Pre-Soviet Afghan x Uncirculated OG's is almost 7 feet tall, and we have indoor Gorilla Glue thats a month from harvest.

I don't think I've ever been negative I just have tried to help you and give you solid advice.

Some times it's not what you want to hear and some times the reality is you're not doing the right thing ..that's always the hardest pill to swallow but once you get it down its pretty easy to get problems dealt with.

I'm not trying to tell you I told you so, but I told you that your glues probably wouldn't do well for you and you'd better off starting new ones or growing something else. Like BD. It wasn't to dog you it was because I wanted you to have happy healthy grow and I know from enough trips around the sun that those were going to have an issue. Hope none other arise for you and you get what you're looking for.

The best advice I can give u is decide what grow has the most yield potential for you and cut ties with everywhere else you're spread, so u can focus like a MOther fucker on the grow that can make you the most units.

Best of luck whatever you end up doing.
