Another quick question...would it be ok to take the clones I have in solo cups filled with straight coco and transplant into the Titan pot filled with hydroton. Hope that makes sense. You guys ever heard of the blackbox ebb and grow unit..looks sick!

I do that sort of thing using smart pots to keep the coco from entering my lines.(u fuckers n ur beer cups) That would be my only concern.
I hav heard the name but do not recall ever seein the Black B. Gotta link????

Hit the beer cup thread. Cause no I don't gotta love them 'made to tip over' fuckers. Nice lookin controller. Made with the tote from Ace hardware ;)-. Your Titian is still superior..
Here's some reasons why IME of course. Titian you will set up in a couple hours.
Pullin pots!!!!!see above.
Time: a bigger pot take more time to grow. I have people In C.A.P, Titians, and Franks. I am not guessing. I hav 6' plants in 2 gal CAP's. My ave is five+ zips plus butter buds.
They seem to be comparing themselves to CAP's 5 gal system. C.A.P. has had some problems so they are easy to whip on. Accordin to my conversations with the DUDE there they are aware of their problems and are striving to fix em. I will say he has fired some of the correct people imo.
notice no mention of the Titian?
I think we always want the next best thing.......

Yeah, Prolly bout done with beer cups once I get a flood table. Im grabbing a Titan this weekend. Instead of using a smart pot type liner, onset if i could put my beer cup clones in pantyhose then to hydroton...just brainstorming.

Iv'e actually done that it works ok. Can be hard on rootball. or carefully poke holes in your cups to let the roots out. just put half the cup in the hydroton.
I use riot rooter trays and ez cloners. Both those set right in the stone no transplant shock.
Hav fun this weekend!!

KOOOLLL you will have it up in no time. Keep it simple. Keep your pot count even?? Don't do 2 on this line 5 on that one. If you are startin out with new hydroton? Rinse Rinse Rinse. Then do a serious rinse. I start outdoors in the bag, hose in the top small holes poked in bottom. I still rinse them after I put it in the net pots.
First one of my people to use this one just chopped over a lb per 1000w. while fightin PM. buds like longneck beer bottles

Hey sir just a little up-date. My titian grower's 1st chop. 12 pots well over 2lbs bud. plus the butterbuds. His trainwreck was 6.5 zips per plant, again minus any butter buds...

i am on my second run with the cap 2 gal 12 bucket, thing was 380 shipped to my front door setup and running in 30 mins (so easy it was fool proof) and i have got to say i am extremely happy so far. first harvest was 1.5 lbs off of 11 pretty small plants this run is looking much larger (more veg time) plus i got some higher yielding strains going on this one. keep it green guys:)

first two pics are current run 3 and 4 are last run.

Running titan flo n grow system, 24 buckets, 2000w , probably will get 5lbs if all goes well, no less than 4lb...

used cap systems before, also used the greentrees flo n gro. big benifit running 3/4 inch tubing instead of 1/2 inch , also benifit of using 4 gal buckets instead of 2 gal buckets! More roots more yeild!

Sentinel will be releasing a system similar to the titan and cap ebb and grows. Be on the look out for it, they make some of the best equipment.

I have seen it in a sunlight supply magazine I have, it will be more pricey but like you said they make some of the best equipment. I have a sentinel temp controller and it was worth every penny.

I have the system running right now in a 5X5 tent with 600W over it. I'm not using their 55 gal rez.. I got a hand me down and replumbed the lines with 3/4" ID vinyl tubing for faster fills and drains. I use hydroton and Canna aqua vega right now. It's a pretty solid system and I like the fact the net pots allow for more medium to be used than the standard round net pot you would use on a round 5 gal bucket. In all honesty you could build this system DIY way cheaper, but I took the lazy mans way out.
